Seriously disappointed in Hyvee in Creston's decisions lately. I understand Covid is going around but the lack of customer options has drastically gone down hill. From the removal of the cake center and dining area to the new ads. Ok go with the flow whatever and remodel but now they have removed the meat counter supposedly to prevent more Covid however now families can no longer get the appropriate amount of food for their families along with the prepackaged available. The ads are advertising produces for sale that are not available or not out on display so they wont make them. Also you must sack yourself after 8pm with a whole cart of groceries due to limited hours. Is ridiculous. Definitely will go elsewhere for most of my shopping. Sadly.

When you have something on sale, keep the shelf stocked, till the sale is over. Ever time I go something is always out. An the last day of the sale, you have nothing. some people do have to work 6 days a week. Sundays nothing is in stock. Poor service, passing the blame, I don't know is most of the comments from employees. the remodel didn't help any. still bad service from everyone. Dirty restrooms, looks like no one has cleaned them.

I don’t understand removing the bakery in Creston to put in a gas station. The bakery is one of the reasons I shop at Hy-Vee. If it isn’t there the store doesn’t have much draw over the Fareway in town. They have a great meat counter and often cheaper prices. If you want to add a gas station why not invest in our community with a new store that includes a liquor & spirits the Market Grill and a parking lot that doesn’t run uphill. Very disappointed about your decision and will reconsider my future shopping decisions.

Love the marble rye bread. Nice selection of filled donuts. The German chocolate cake is my favorite. I also love their angel food cake with fruit topping. I'm so glad that Creston is blessed with such a nice bakery.
