We went on a weeknight. Moderately busy.
Pros: - Pizza was pretty good. The crust wasn't too tough and the toppings stayed in place. - Dessert pizza was great! Especially the blueberry. - arcade room was clean and all the machines were in working order. We had fun, even as adults!
Room for improvement: -The salad bar could have been better. The lettuce available was just hard iceburg lettuce which did not look very inviting. - The fried chicken was disappointing. Tasted bland like it was boiled and the texture of the chicken was strangely slippery.
Although this is a chain, we have some suggestions as to how Pizza Ranch could ranch it up even more: 1. Uniforms - everyone is in jeans and tshirts but overalls or bandanas and cowboy hats would add to the vibem 2. Music - the music the night we went was generic pop. Maybe play country. 3. Decor - They could go even further. Maybe some murals of old west ranches?

Doesn't keep food stocked on the buffet for customers and have to ask for them to pick up the dishes on the table. Will not be returning to the Creston, Iowa location anymore! Red Oak, Iowa location is way better and does a better job at keeping customers satisfied!

My standards aren’t that high. Family of 4 went in tonight. Let me tell you it was NASTY! The most un clean place I have been to in a while. Salad bar hadn’t been wiped all night I would think. All mixed together. The dressing bottles had food sliding down them. And the bar was just like a tornado hit it. Chicken sat empty for over 10 minutes. No pizza selection period. The same ol dry pizza sat there the whole time I was there. It was disgusting to say the least! No ice for soda. I spent over 50 dollars just to go home and eat. Didn’t eat much there.A waste of money. I will not return for sure! Very disappointed to say the least!….. In response to Pizza Ranch’s response…. Please get ahold of who? You failed to give the info. But of course I’m sure that was on purpose. The condition of your place was horrible! Not a chance I would return. Just plain Nasty! What a horrible night out with my family. You should change your ways. Maybe have a few adults working with them children. Or at least one with a backbone to make them do their jobs. Horrible. !
