Ate there for the first time tonight. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye and it came out tough as leather. Service was very friendly. They didn’t charge me for the steak. I was appreciative due to the condition of the steak. I may return due to the refund and give them another chance. But not anytime soon.
Ate here three times since theyve opened. Was not impressed during any of those three. Food is hit and miss. Definitely need to figure out how to season. Most everything I've had here has been very bland and unimpressive. No clue why you need a reservation at a Creston Iowa restaurant, but whatever. Good service, nice staff. Overpriced for food quality. Probably won't return.
This was my wife & mines first time at Spencer's Chophouse & Tavern. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated right away. Our waitress was pleasant and took our drink order and returned with our drinks right away. Our food order was taken shortly after, when we were ready, and we received our food in a timely manner. My soup, beef stroganoff, was a tasty starter. I had the 16oz Italian Ribeye. My steak was easily the full 16oz and cooked perfectly. The fries...
