Great old school cafe style restaurant, sit at the counter or grab a booth. Ribeye or New York strip steaks cooked the way you want it. Many Spanish dishes also. They also have a large breakfast menu too. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food at fantastic prices.

This was a childhood stop when dad came up to the cemetary. While the menu has changed to mostly Mexican, the memories are still there.

I went in with my wife for a meal at around dinner time, the first thing I noticed was a distinct lack of any noise, there was no music and it was completely empty at what should be a livelier time. Our server was fantastic and very punctua,l she was extremely nice and got us everything we needed for our meal, HOWEVER, the food itself was bland, I was missing ingredients in my burrito, and my wife's steak was somehow burnt and rare when they asked for medium well. That steak was the most bland, unappealing and chewy steak I've ever had in my life. In addition to the steak the eggs were rubbery and tasteless. The hash browns were the best part of the meal simply because everything else was just that bad. All in all it wasn't a horrible experience? But definitely would not suggest eating here. El Jimador in the same town less than 3 miles away has exceptional service and food for about the same price.

Used to be a real cafe. Now it’s just another Mexican restraunt and the food was not good at all. Seems like the Mexican places have taken over everywhere. Don’t get me wrong I like Mexican food but not when I go to old cafe. And was expecting care food. ? not a great place like it was 30 years ago

Worst steak i ever had if you can call it that left the food and wasn't even asked if it was
Went there this morning for breakfast. I ordered a coffee and omelette with toast on the side. When I got my coffee the mug had lipstick seems like they didn’t wash the mug. I told the waitress and she gave me another mug. The omelette was not good too salty. The toast had Mold on it! I let the waitress know about it and said I’m sorry. I didn’t even get a discount for the coffee and the toast!! Worst experience ever! Will not be going back.

this place, despite being a café, doesn't have a lot of breakfast options, which i was fine with. the waffle i had wasn't great by any means, but it wasn't bad either. the staff weren't all stars, but they did fine.
went there for dinner, and the food was MUCH better. the chips, salsa, and queso were absolutely amazing. the food i had was very good. UNFORTUNATELY, i ended up getting food poisoning and got extremely sick.

The beef fajita taco salad was one of the best I have had. We traveled from Texas and had seen the remodel of Cronks cafe on FB an just had to stop. Our entire family of 11 was well satisfied with everything we ordered. Great Job!

I normally only leave positive reviews and like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but there were several errors with my family's orders, and when one was asked to be returned due to having ingredients that were specifically asked to leave off the food, the waitress brought the same plate back to the table and said that was how he ordered it so she could not replace it.
