I took my wife here for her Birthday and chose this restaurant based upon reviews from it's customers. It turned into an incredible dining experience. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller which were prepared to perfection, followed by oysters on the half shell. My wife then had the french onion soup, which is her long time favorite, and I tried the Lobster Brisk. Both delicious! She had the 8 ounce fillet and I had the 20 0unce bone-in fillet which was the fillet half of the Porterhouse, split down the bone, leaving the fat untrimmed and available to the meat for flavor and moisture. Tremendous! Our side choices were the asparagus and scalloped potatoes, both prepared perfectly. This was all served by a group of servers that knew their menu, were friendly, caring and willing to see us have a wonderful evening. Our only complaint for the evening was that we were seated in the bar area rather than in the main dinging area and only a few feet from an often noisy cocktail bar though we had made reservations the day before. That being said, we would have preferred having this set of servers to being seated elsewhere. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner!
We usually make it to 801 every few months, and it is one of favorites. The food, as always, did not disappoint. Our last trip was to celebrate our daughter's 22nd birthday, and she picked the place. She loves the prime rib, and as always, it was excellent. We have never had a bad meal at 801!
Everything was perfection! At first I wasn't sure how I felt about a restaurant in an office building. Once you walk through their doors you forget about all of that. The room is warm and inviting. Dark wood and green accents are on point. Our servers (2) were so kind and professional. They took great care of us. Our dinner was mind blowing for a classic dinner. The lobster bites were the perfect way to begin. My martini was crafted exactly the way I had requested. Our steaks were better than delicious. My soufflé is what dreams are made of.
I Loved our experience at 801 Chophouse! The food was excellent and our waitress Laura was wonderful!
The ordered medium well steak and its was practically well done. The flavor was okay. I had wet aged ribeye with black truffle butter. The sides and appetizers were mid at best. Took a bite from each and was done. It was just an okay experience.
The food was fantastic. Very flavorful and the steaks were so tender. Great for the business social dinner and easy to carry on a conversation across the table. The deserts were also marvelous, and I prefer 801 Chophouse to other high-end steak houses.

10th wedding anniversary celebration dinner, told 801 this. We get there and the hostess decides to sit us right next to the bar. Told them no thanks, we're not here to drink. We get seated in dining area across from chef station. The whole dinner its loud, you can hear the chefs laughing and yelling, and using profanity like its their first language. Our waiter Michael was the only memorable time of this dinner. He did his best to help us, and make it special. We had a table of people across from us that clearly were getting drunk. They were loud, obnoxious, and also using profanity. The food was terrible! Got a Delomonico steak, that was tougher then a London broil. It tasted expired, and had no natural flavor. The Bleu cheese potatoes and creamed spinach were overcooked. Even the Filet mignon was tough. Oysters, and salads were the only good food items we got. So disappointed in this place! Spent $311 for garbage! We are fine dining regulars, and know the difference between a good steak and bad one. Texas roadhouse has better quality meat and sides then this place, and you can get all your food for 90 to a 100 dollars.
If you're craving a top-tier steakhouse experience, look no further. The bone-in filet was absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and cooked to a flawless medium-rare. It practically melted in my mouth. And don't sleep on the Brussels sprouts! Crispy, caramelized, and tossed with just the right touch of seasoning, they were the surprise standout of the meal. Attentive service and a cozy, upscale atmosphere made the evening even better. Highly recommend for a special night out.

Excellent service and food! It was a very enjoyable date night for my wife and me. Thank you!
We made a late 9pm reservation, came in in streetwear, and we still had wonderful service and a great meal. Thanks for accommodating us!
The food was great but the service was quite slow.
