The cheapest bar that we found in downtown Des Moines! We went to 3 other bars, found the 85 Bar. Reasonably priced drinks $6. I'm on a gluten-free diet (not by choice) so I am forced to drink Carbliss, which by the way are really good. Very friendly staff- have your ID ready, they will card you. The other plus we found out, vaping is allowed (as long as its not a dank one 🤣). Overall experience was really good, wanna watch the game- numerous big screens but no pool table. See y'all next time! 🍻

Stumbled on this place and glad I did. It is not really a dive but it is. Just a good local bar, that is themed as a Chicago Bears bar, with awesome bartenders. Was a great place to watch the college World Series game. And as a plus. They have mini beers. If you don’t know what that is just ask and order you will be glad you did.

Decent time here. It was pretty empty, bar tender didn't speak much to our group of 7 unless we spoke to them first. No checking in or seeing if we needed anything.

Was there for 30 minutes before we had to remind the front that we were there and hadn’t seen a waitress. Finally had someone come through to take drinks and apps. Then didn’t see the waitress for another half hour to take our food order. By that time our 1 year old was getting antsy and we needed to leave without getting food

If you are a diehard fan of the 1985 Chicago Bears or just a general Chicago Bears fan, THIS IS A FOR SURE MUST STOP PLACE. It might be a little small on the inside, but it makes up for it in service, atmosphere, decorations, food, and experience. I brought my dad here(who almost worships the 1985 Chicago Bears) and it was like taking a kid to Disney. It truly feels like your truly stepping into the world of The Monsters of Midway. Would highly recommend.
