Americana Reviews
We love their brunch. Their staff, especially Carla, are amazing. We took family from out of town on Sunday and they can not wait to return!
Awful tonight. Under cooked steak. Rubber kids chicken tenders. Plain pasta with several things on it. For $117 bucks one of these things should have been at least halfway decent. Shame.

Americana is known for its aged Omaha steak with Des Moines special du Burgo sauce. The restaurant also offers an all-you-can-eat brunch featuring a taco bar and grilled cheese, along with bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas. Customers enjoy the salted caramel pancakes and filled donut holes, which are considered favorites, although some find the service to be slow and distracted. Parking can be a bit tricky, but the donut holes are a popular treat among visitors. The location across from the sculpture park provides a lovely ambiance, making it a good spot for special occasions like anniversaries. The beef dishes, such as the petite medallions and pork steak, are praised for their tenderness and flavor, though some dishes like mushroom gravy may overpower the steak's taste. The truffle fries with goat cheese dip are highly recommended, and the restaurant looks forward to offering burger specials on Sundays and weekend brunches.
