Phenomenal, delicious, and it'll have you coming back for more!! This is my go-to spot!
I used to love this place......but when you cut down portions and dont make prices cheaper.....in this economey! You made your wings smaller and made your sides basicly a quarter of the portion originally provided.....food to price value maters and you used to have that....guess ill go back to chik-fil-a!!
Awesome food, the pickled daikon is my favorite side. The double dunk or pineapple jalapeño sauce options are both delicious. Wednesday you can get $1 bone-in wings- what a great deal ?

The food was very good and the wings are bigger than expected. The food came out fast and the sides are good proportions.
I had the double dip(Left) and pineapple jalapeno(right) wings. The pineapple jalapeno was my favorite and the mack and cheese was fantastic. Overall my experience at the Basic Bird was fantastic and I strongly suggest that you give it a try.

When your husband wants Korean wings , you get wings. The food is always excellent. My only small complaint is there is no option between 9 to 18 and we always get too much food. But that just means leftovers. The sides are perfect and my son enjoyed celebrating his soccer victory dinner.
Dietary restrictions: They do have some gluten free options
Parking: When it is a busier time, it can be difficult to find parking. But that is just the area.

Great Korean style chicken, loved the double dipped (sweet and spicy) the banchans are all delicious, kimchi isn't spicy but full of flavor.

I've got to start by saying the food is great. Not going to lie about that but when you order, double check that bag. I put in an order for two (~$35) and when I got home I discovered the sides for one order were both incorrect and the second order was a nine piece of plain breaded chicken (no seasoning)! They don't have a phone number so I couldn't even contact them to let them know they botched it. Disappointing experience. Remove all items and check before leaving their site.

I was shocked how delicious the cauliflower wings were. And crispy, so crispy!! ? the Double Dunk sauce was perfect too. The place is cute with the split color design. Will definitely be back.

TLDR: cute egg theme, good Korean food, kind of small portions, relatively slow
Food: The food here is actually pretty good. They have a relatively good variety of options, but the menu as a whole is quite small. I also find that their portions are pretty small, too. I like getting their version of tteokbokki, which is one of the pretty few vegetarian options. It was incredibly good, but I did find that the portion size seemed smaller than the instant tteokbokki that you can buy at HMart or some asian food store. The seasoning and flavor was better than those, though. It also had a great cheese pull. Some of the meals have the option of 3 sides, which is quite nice to try their variety of sides; however, the sides portions are really small (except for a few). I really like their kimchi and potato salad. I did try their cheesy corn side, and I was not a fan. It didn't really have a flavor and just felt soggy. Some, if not all of the sides, are premade and packaged in a fridge while the rest of the food (I think) is cooked fresh. This does mean that the food tends to take a while. This is not a fast dine place. Another thing I would like to note about the food is that some of the options that you think would be vegetarian are not: I wanted to get the truffle fries but there was meat on it. It would be nice if there were more vegetarian options.
Service: The employees are pretty nice. There's not too much interaction beyond ordering, but they were very helpful for opinion and recommendation questions.
Other: The interior is covered in yellow, and parts of it are quite aesthetic. The window bar area is very cute with a neon sign, but it does make it feel like the rest of the interior was an afterthought. The cute aesthetics doesn't feel like it goes throughout the whole establishment. I do really like the mural on the side of the building, though. There also seems to be little insulation or sound proofing because whenever a chair gets moved or something happens, I feel like it almost echos.
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options that are available, specifically the tteokbokki, is very good; however, there are not many options. If you are looking for a variety of choice, this is not it. If you are looking to experience something within a restriction, then you should go.
Dietary restrictions: It is possible to eat here with dietary restrictions. I believe there is one explicitly vegan bowl; however, there are not many options for dietary restrictions. Most of the meals incorporate some form of meat or cheese. Since the food is prepared fresh, I do believe it would be possible to make accommodations for allergies.
Parking: There is a nice large parking lot on the side by the mural that is free. I have never had trouble finding a spot there.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is not an accessibility button on the entry door. The interior might be wide enough for a wheel chair, but it would likely be a tight squeeze. I think it would be doable with a wheel chair, but you would need assistance for the door and it may be difficult to reach the ordering counter and find a place to wait for the food to be done.

Original review: Google maps says it’s open. The hours on the door say it’s open. It’s closed. This is a big bummer because it came highly recommended!
I’m very impressed the business reached out. Will update after we’ve tried it!
Nothing new to say that hasn’t already been said by other 5 star reviews. Food is great. Atmosphere is great. Artwork is super cute. Definitely coming back!

Quick service. Chicken rub was well balanced and very tasty. The sides offered are wonderfully healthy. Liked that you got to pick 3 sides for a nice variety.

Absolutely love this place! I don't eat out a lot but the basic bird is at the top of my list for quick, easy, and delicious. Some of my favorites are the dry rub boneless wings, cucumber kimchi, and potato salad.

So I waited to try for a special occasion since I heard it was pricey. Double dunk wings (gochujang and honey butter) cabbage kimchi, potato salad, daikon radish, and honey butter fries. The only downside it was just before noon and they were out of a few things already. They give you plenty for portions. Everything was really good. Lots of traffic
