Walked in before close, at around 1:00 am. Door was unlocked and we came in and sat down. As I was scanning the menu, I was screamed at by the bartender. He said “GET THE HINT WERE DONE FOR THE NIGHT”. I have never been offended and disrespected like that in a public place. We did not say a word and walked out right away. The lack of respect for paying customers is unreal. As someone who has worked in customer service for over 5 years, that behavior is unacceptable.

I live 30 minutes outside of town so to make it out to bellhop is a bit of a drive for me. The last two times I’ve gone the website said they were open only for me to show up and have it be closed for private events. With no way to call and ask I won’t bother to be coming back a third time.

After I closed my tab of $55.00 and tip the bartender $11.00.. I asked for a cup of ice, I noticed the outside & inside of the cup was visibly NASTY!!!! Please make sure you check your glass & cup before taking a sip… I ate ice from that NASTY CUP….

I've been looking forward to visiting Bellhop for quite a while and finally made it down on Saturday 3/23 with 3 of my friends. It was around 11 and the place was hopping. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes with zero bartender interaction. There were 4 staff members I could see behind the bar. Two mixing drinks and two pulling bottles. One of my friends called out that everyone at the tables was also waiting for drinks. We left after that. The menu looked cool I guess even though it was missing a lot of tiki staples.

All the bartenders were great. The only reason for a 4 star rating was the DJ. He was incredibly rude when asked about a request. I was about to mention what song I would have requested if requests were accepted, and he acted as if I was assaulting him or something. It was meant as a friendly interaction, but I left feeling like an intruder.
