Many great things about this place but the music is so loud you can’t have a conversation with friends or communicate with employees. We’ve gone twice in the evening, found a table and left immediately when the music started. Never even placed our order. An employee even agreed and said they won’t work there next year.

The Blue Ribbon bar and eatery provides a delightful dining experience. The food is exceptional, the service is attentive, and the ambiance is perfect for a cozy time while at the Iowa State Fair. Wide range of exceptional food, but the quality makes it worthwhile. The Cozy booth style seating is recommended for those seeking amazing food and comfortable / energetic environment.
