Absolutely love this place. Many menu items not available elsewhere in Des Moines or rarely. Hope they don't change anything.

SO glad I stopped in here! Cozy and clean, somewhat retro atmosphere, tasty food (I got the Chile Verde and a Horchata shake), good portions for a fair price, friendly people. Definitely a pleasant surprise when I needed a quick bite.

What a warm and friendly place. Been there many times and love the food, service, and coffees. The service was prompt and all the other customers really seemed to be happy with their breakfast.

Love this for this neighborhood. Very cute and cozy inside. Dropped in on New Year’s Day (so happy they were open!). A bit of a wait but everything was worth it. We ordered spiced chocolate latte, lavender hibiscus latte (caffeine free btw), breakfast sandwich, carnitas sandwich, carnitas omelet and rice bowl. All were great 😊

Great little Cafe! It was a Saturday morning at 10:45 and busy the entire time. But, there was always seating available because of the staff's efficiency. They had a nice variety of things on the menu, plus a good amount of pastries to choose from. The chicken fajita sandwich and Cuban were both very tasty! Plenty of good coffee options as well!

The coffee was very good and served in a very large mug. The option for half decaf was appreciated. I also ordered crepes. They were just OK. I could have used more fruit on them, and they seemed like pre-packaged crepes and not made fresh, just heated up. They tasted alright though. Overall my experience was positive. They have lots of seating.

Great little diner. Good food and good people. Not too loud or crazy for those of us who are not chaos fans.

Quick, delicious, and served in generous portions! If you don’t have a big appetite, one plate is plenty for two people. The chilaquiles are the star of the menu, and as a Mexican, I can say they truly capture the authentic flavors in every dish.
