Great place to get breakfast and a coffee/latte. I had the omelette and horchata latte, but there were numerous other items that looked ? Service is counter service and food was ready fast. Went on a Saturday and it was busy but we didn't wait too long for our table.

The food was good, a plate with reasonable portions on the positive side, the negative side is that they only give you two tortillas (if they were homemade it would raise the quality of the food, but they were reheated mission tortillas) and I left half of my food for That reason (it was disproportionate), the drinks were very tasty, another thing is that you order first and obviously pay but they ask you how much you are going to leave as a tip, giving you three options, how are you going to leave a tip if you still don't know if you liked it or not? If you are willing to deal with all the cons, you can enjoy this place and its food.

The food is phenomenal, vegetarian friendly as well. Great coffee and such fantastic employees, very cheerful and kind. We witnessed a challenging situation they handled with kindness and grace. I cannot wait to return, I have told so many people this is a great breakfast gem in Des Moines.

The Dulce de Leche crepes are addicting.... like literally! One bite and I was hooked. They are hands down the best crepes I've had in Iowa!!! The strawberries were fresh and sweet (in December!) And the crepes were perfect.

They have wonderful service, friendly staff, and a great layout and interior design.They have vegetarian food options and dairy free drink options, as well as a variety of other foods. They have sandwiches, pancakes, eggs, and a variety of Spanish breakfast items ❤️.It's a bright, colorful space, with lots of sunlight pouring in, and a good view to the outside.

Everything was fantastic! Only thing I would do differently would is have someone come to your table and take your order instead of decide what you want then go up and order then there won't be a confusion. But other then that it was fantastic! Nice to see something good go in there.Dietary restrictions: There were alot of good healthy food choices!Parking: Plenty of parking and around back you can park which I did because I use a walker!Kid-friendliness: Where kids in there eating and things kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: I went and parked around back since I used a walker because out front there is steps in back there is no steps!
This is a great little Eastside Cafe. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the ham, egg, and cheese croissant were terrific, and the hot chocolate with cinnamon was great.
