We really thought this place was not great. The food was not Italian, but more like American versions you make up at home. The design felt like a jail and we had gnats all over us and the food.

Discrimination at its finest. As in my other post they would not let us in. I am not sure if they allow children in to establishment. Hostess was rude. This is our second attempt to eat at this glorified Pizza Hut.

During our first visit to Centro, my husband and I were pleased. The food was tasty, service was good. I was excited to go back, until I went to put our leftovers in the fridge. I ate a small portion of my entree, as we had bread, an appetizer, and were told we were getting a free dessert since it was our first visit. Upon opening my entree leftover box our waiter took care of for us, I noticed a substantial amount of my entree did not end up coming home with us. I would estimate my box had 1/3 of the anticipated leftovers in the box. I was disappointed to pay $25 for an entree and not receive the full amount I didn’t eat at the restaurant. My husband appeared to have all of his leftovers, so unsure why mine was cut short. Disappointed.

The pizza is excellent! The small pizzas are larger than a dinner plate, and are a great deal when 1/2 price on Mondays. Quattro formaggio was delicious and had a ton of flavor. Even the carnivore at the table didn't miss the meat.
Service was ok. They were super busy so not sure if they were short staffed or if our experience was normal. Had to cancel a second beer ordered because we had finished dinner and it still hadn't arrived. Bill was dropped off without the specials discounted and had to be reprinted. Waiter was friendly and apologetic about the misses. Prior to being seated the hostess seemed very confused about table status.
Atmosphere is busy, it looked like the kitchen staff were having a great time and enjoying the dinner rush. It's fun to watch the pizzas being made.

Generous portions, excellent service, and a pleasant ambiance. The flavors were satisfying but nothing I ate was memorable. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample with our large party. I enjoyed my medallions and mashed potatoes.
Not sure it tastes like Italian food after spending a lot of time in Italy. I guess Midwest whishing to be Italian. However it is decent. It wass too noisy and busy the two last times I visited it. A good wine list. Try the Sardinia wine! Pleasant staff.

Wandered in off the road and discovered a gem! Great Italian food, homemade pasta, drinks and wine pours generous and refreshing. Our luncheon entrees were perfect and we knew we would be a little overwhelmed by the portions. Delicious and prepared with an eye to flavor. Our server Heather was delightful, perfectly attentive and solicitous of our enjoyment of the dining experience in this historic venue. We want to come back for dinner next time we’re in town.

I frequently take groups here for work outings and I always have a great experience. The servers are very personable and have recommendations ready for my clients when they ask. The Centro team is very knowledgeable and happily accommodates my clients requests. I always appreciate how prompt the food service as well.
