One of the best selections of chocolates available anywhere. They're pricey but offer a wide selection of milk and dark chocolates. I've ordered a box of chocolates here and had them shipped out of state at a very competitive price. During hot weather, they package the box with ice packs.

What the hell happened to Stam? Always used to be a great place to buy chocolate in the past. I went in there to get a couple of boxes of Christmas chocolate. I am really particular about the chocolate especially if I am going to pay a higher price. I don’t like dark and shy away from certain mixes. I went in and you can’t pick the Christmas ones. They just come in a box and you get what you get. I asked and they said they don’t do that. Wait a minute!! In years past we have been able to pick. They had special Christmas chocolates Cupcakes for $10.95 for 4 of them. However when I asked what kind of flavor they were the girl had no idea. Not a clue. There were 2 other ladies working there and she did not even ask them nor did they volunteer the information. Very very disappointed. If I am going to spend $100 for chocolate, I want to know what I am buying, not just shoved down my throat for my $100. I did not buy anything since they could not tell me anything about what they had.

Cannot go wrong here. We were a group of 15 and the people here were so happy to help us. The gelato was so yummy.The store is beautiful. And there are so many chocolates to choose from. What a wonderful afternoon! Thank you for your excellent service and kindness.

Don't go here if you don't want to ruin grocery store chocolate for yourself. Its is so good, sometimes I will spend almost 10 dollars on a few chocolates as a treat for myself and wont even regret it.

Pretty good. My wife is from Europe and misses the coffee shops with sweets there, so I took her here. Can't say it was perfect, but it reminded her of home. She was happy. Most of the chocolates we tried were good, but a couple were disappointing. It would be nice if there were some small cakes, rather than just chocolates, but it's right there on the sign so I can't really complain. Coffee is pretty good. Staff was nice. Not too expensive.There was some kind of issue with the computer in the back. An audio message that sounded like a trojan scam was playing on a loop over the house speakers, instead of the music that had been playing when we entered. For some reason the staff didn't think to mute it until I asked them about it, after about ten minutes.

Really cool collection Bob's suites and chocolates. I was hoping for a bit more fudge but they did have some on hand. I really enjoyed the gelato especially the espresso gelato. If you're looking for a gift for a friend this is definitely the place to go and they have many things that will make just about anyone happy
A friend and I stopped by for a hot chocolate and a Mocha. The hot chocolate was delicious, and my friend said this is one of the best Mochas he's had. The place has quite the assortment of chocolates as well. I'd 10/10 recommend stopping by for a drink.

This was well worth the hassle of road construction in Des Moines when we visited. The staff as friendly and informative, the place inside was huge but not crowded with items, and there is a small seating area. The wall of information about the history of the place was fun to read, too.
