Best donut shop in town. The sausage roll is wrapped in donut pastry. There were a few things i had never heard of before. The employees were kind and efficient. Next time we will go earlier because there were lots of ppl and they were selling out fast.
We love going here because of how cheerful and kind the customer service is! Their donuts are amazing!

Best donuts in town, I was never a fan of old fashioned donuts until I tried them here, amazing. The cronuts are awesome, as are the sausage rolls. Love that they let you pick your donut and then they will fill them with your choice of filling

Talk about a great experience.
We found the location very easily. It's very well marked with its name on the front and signage.
We walked in and we were greeted by not one but 3 to 4 staff. People all with a smile and all very.
We were as several times while we were standing there. If we were being waited on which we were. The staff person just went into the back to grab some other donuts.
They have a very good variety of donuts with different flavors, different styles and different pastry textures as well as kolaches.
They take your order and put all of your donuts in anything that you're ordering onto trays before they put it into a box to make sure that you can see exactly what you're getting and make sure that you have what you want.
I would highly highly recommend the beignet donut bites. They were very soft and had a crunchy texture but it was absolutely perfect.
The pricing was excellent. The location's excellent and all of the staff is definitely very, very kind and very willing to help.
My hands down recommend this as a donut shop. Stop that you must make if you're in the area or you live in Des Moines.

Awesome donuts and very kind staff! Not only are the donuts delicious but super cute with the happy face designs too. The lady who helped us put a few extra donut holes in the box so the happy face design wouldn’t get smooshed from the lid- very thoughtful!

I tied ChuChu Donuts for the first time this last week. I am generally hesitant to try a bakery/donut shop because I feel like a lot of donuts can be really oily or heavy. Not here! I ate them too fast to take a picture. Cherry cake donuts are one of my favorites. Not only were theirs bigger than a normal cake donut, it was the softest, most moist donut I have ever had. I also tried their cronut. I had no idea what it was when I tried it. Super flakey and light and really yummy. I also tried their Honeymooner(?). beautifully decorated. Just the right amount of jelly topping.
I highly recommend! I'm currently writing this review because I am thinking about when I can go again

A co worker brought a box in and the doughnuts are too damn good. Stop it.
I drove 30 min to get a cronut and was devastated to walk in and discover they only had 3 donuts left. The woman at the counter felt bad and gave me the crispist fruity pastry that was amazing. I didn't get what I wanted but what I got was great and customer service was amazing. After I left they closed for the day since they sold out

It's absolutely my favorite place to get donuts in Des Moines. The selection is always excellent, and quality is very consistent. I have been many times, and still, I am yet to have anything bad from here.
On top of that, the staff is so nice. The entire place has a very welcoming vibe.

I forgot to order donuts from Hyvee on 4th and Court for my team (they get mad when I clear them out on a Friday). I called Chu Chu and within the short drive from Norwalk to SW 9th they had my order ready picked up through drive through and at work in 5 minutes! Team loved them!!!
