I don't have enough good things to say about this place and the service, I had the elote and a couple craft cocktails. Food was fast & delicious and so were the drinks. Adrina was my waitress and she was brought an awesome energy and took my experience to the next level, very knowledgeable about the menu & quick on her feet. Would definitely recommend everybody giving this place a try! Ask for Adrina!

Popped in to get out of the cold during a trip to Des Moines and was very pleasantly surprised. The margaritas were good but the tacos were incredible. Really impressed and happy to see the DSM food game picking up like this! Highly recommended.

Went last night for date night. Everything was great food, drinks and service. We had the chorizo, barbacoa, and carnita tacos. All were good but the barbacoa is definitely the stand out with a side of elite!Our waitress was prompt and attentive!Will definitely be back for another date night!

Tonight we tried Coa for the first time. The bartender was taking shots and chatting it up with coworkers/friends at the end of the bar. When we tried to ask him for service, he didn't acknowledge our request and we ended up wondering if he had heard us. After repeating ourselves, he made a snide and rude comment stating he hears everything and that he has been doing this for years. We were simply asking for acknowledgement. It's a shame that we will not be back due to poor customer service because the food and drinks were good.

I really like COA, the atmosphere is typically very chill and my server was great, knowledgeable and very attentive. I think her name was lily or Lilian? But seeing the bartenderTrevor, that night get into a fight and punch a guest at the entrance kind of killed the vibe. If I wanted bro vibes and fights I'd go to court ave. But I still love the high end tequila menu and the location, but let's keep the Drama to a minimum so your average guest can enjoy the night without a fight! And the street corn was on point.

Went here on a weekday at 4pm. Nobody greeted us for 10 minutes and when they did, the server was unfriendly and mumbling. Bartender was on her phone. The queso was amazing. Everything else was not special. We noticed the server adjusted her tip as we saw when we got home, from 6 to 10 dollars. Wouldn't go again.

Staff was nice, timely, honest with prep and point of sale technology. I've been here a handful of times and every time I leave, I look foreword to my next visit. The vibes and ambiance are high! The DJs are great! The bathrooms are clean! The prices and happy hours are well-timed and communicated! No complaints.Also their sister bar, Bellhop Tiki, has all of the above as well!
