Great beer and more selections than you see in the stores.

I'm a hop snob, growing my own hops on trellises in southwest Iowa. Been a huge fan of Sierra Nevada, Stone, and Laughing Dog. When I encountered Confluence's Des Moines IPA - Double Dry Hopped, it instantly became my number one. What a perfect balance of subtle but not overwhelming sweetness with a crisp wet hoppiness that doesn't overwhelm. Getting this balance right is insanely tough.Got to tour Confluence and was even more of a fan. What a fantastic operation, with a passion for innovation. They may be Iowa's best microbrewery but I'm telling my boys at Sierra Nevada, you've got one hell of a competitor nipping at your heels!Confluence is a beer you can be proud of drinking, for its taste, its innovation, and its commitment to its communities.

Sammi, maria, john, and Brandon were so attentive and so knowledgeable about all of the beers they have on draft! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys craft beer. They were nothing but super kind! LOVE THIS PLACE! Also the double Des Moines imperial IPA is AMAZINGGG! Picture featured below!

One of the best tap rooms in DSM. Can't go wrong with any of their beers! Outstanding.

This place was amazing. They had 35 different beers on tap. Way too many to choose from. But that's not a bad thing. Beer was good and creative. Staff was fantastic and it was not very busy.

Excellent selection and service! Loved this brewery alongside a bike trail. Definitely #1 in the area

My favorite brewery in Des Moines! They release AT LEAST a beer a week. Most of it time, it's 2-3. My personal favorites are Blue Corn, Chewbacca Bock, Mayday Mayday Maibock, Oktoberfest, Weather Beacon Dopple Marzen, 50's Dad, and Rad Dad. BYOF but sometimes have a food truck. Very cyclist friendly! Always a good trip with a stop to Confluence!
Good beer, but an excellent fall day and a wonderful blues band.

Confluence Brewery is a great place for great local beer! It’s right off the bike trail- with a patio - and a food truck most nights.

Beer was good as usual. The Bartender Elizabeth couldn’t answer simple beer recommendations and ignored patrons at the bar. Looked like she was pissed to be there. Wouldn’t stick around if she’s working. Miss the old crew that cared about their customers.
