I love the dark, Irish pub feel. Felt like I was back in the UK. There was only a single bartender, but he seemed to get the drinks out quickly. You order at the counter, and it's cash only. There's an ATM available in case you're not carrying any. Luckily, our friend had some cash. Seems like it's a much-loved neighborhood dive! Will remember to bring cash next time.

Cooney's feels like an Irish Pub should feel. Joe is a great guy and takes good care of his patrons. Excellent selection of beer and ale. No food but you can bring in food. Note no plastic accepted for payment ; cash only. Open Irish music sessions on third, fourth, and fifth Tuesdays of every month.Parking: Disabled parking.

Stopped in for a draft beer. $4 Budweiser . Very cold , and fresh. Clean taste which is worth mentioning as some places you can not drink the draft beer .
