My family and I love the brunch they offer on the weekends! So delicious, wide variety of food and drinks, and very reasonably priced! We go with our 3 young kids usually when we take a trip to Des Moines, so very kid friendly! Amazing seating as well, just love the overall vibe! Highly recommend!
I went here during brunch with my daughter. We did not want brunch and the waitress said we can order the items with $ on them separate. There was no price listed. But, when I got the bill It seemed pricey for chicken strips and fries so, I reached out to see what the price was for them because they seemed overpriced when referencing other items on the menu I reviewed when I got home online-- There is no price or even an item for Chicken fingers and fries I can see on the menu-- I inquired about the price of the item via email. They said send me the last 4 digits of your credit card to see if you were charged right. Why would you need my cc last 4 to tell me a price of an item you sale? I still don't know the price-- My wife and I used to go here at least once a month when doing date nights so, I have never ordered them before. I probably won't be back because this is an issue that shouldn't take research to answer.
Been going to Cabco for over 20 years, the last 6-8 months it’s really gone downhill. The food is overpriced and just not good anymore.
Got a Collossus salad, a side of cold fries, and an order of the spring rolls. The spring rolls are basically 3 tiny egg rolls cut in half, they used to be much bigger and awesome. Total bill was over $50. We are so happy to pay any amount for good food, but every time we’ve been there lately, it’s just not.
Fast friendly service from our server Elayna.
It wasn't that busy, so I popped in for lunch, and I'm glad I did. The reuben with a side of coleslaw was extremely good. The bartender was exceptionally nice. I will have to come again when I'm in the area.
Probably one of the worst places I've been to....the bartender didn't know how to make a margarita and the sliders were raw!! Horrible experience.
Two things restaurants need to keep in mind. 1. The less work they do the less tip they get. If I have to process my own payment to pay for my own order that takes away from their tip. 2. When you put a surcharge on my order that makes me less likely to go back. Especially since I was handed my receipt and left alone with no offer to processing the payment had me a scrutinizing every step of my bill. I just got a reminder as to why I don't go there that often. The food is so-so with customer service to match.
We had their new brunch on Saturday. A lot of options that they bring fresh to your table. Our favorites were smash burger sliders, Graziano Pizza and breakfast poutine. Selena was a wonderful server, going above and beyond in every way.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. The red potatoes were fantastic too!
Service was outstanding. Food was good but a bit overpriced.

No one greeted us after waiting for about 5 minutes so we sat ourselves in the bar area. No one came to take an order or even advise they would help us momentarily. We were in the restaurant about 15 minutes before walking out as we still had not even been acknowledged
We did brunch but unfortunately it is VERY expensive. You are not able to order normal items like plain scrambled eggs on toast, off the menu. You are forced to do family style at $23.99 a person, and this doesn’t include coffee. If all you wanted was eggs, this is exorbitantly overpriced. The portions are extremely large, and if you are just two people and not a family, it doesn’t make a difference. There really should be a cheaper option for single people and couples! Yes you are able to take the leftovers home, but having an option for people who don’t come in as a family, should be taken into account.
I'm trying not to exaggerate here, but the brunch we had on Sunday was possibly the worst meal I've had in recent memory. There wasn't a single thing we were served that could have been made fresh in the kitchen, except maybe the bacon being cooked?
Otherwise It was the cheapest food for the highest price I could have paid for my wife and myself. With a tip we spent $95 on a school lunch cafeteria quality meal.
I would have paid $95 for a quality breakfast. Instead we got micro dishes served family style, most of it served cold, including cinnamon rolls and half frozen hash brown patties (like the ones McDonald's serves). But we got over cooked donut holes, and unseasoned scrambled egg something with cheddar cheese melted on top
We are still complaining to each other about how awful it was, and I waited a day and a half to review.
To be fair, we've been there for dinner and weren't disappointed, but that's been more than a year, so who knows?
What I do know is that they should throw the towel in on brunch.
They get an upgraded 2 stars because our server at least tried.
I do not recommend this restaurant. Food was just ok and seriously disappointed in the attitude of the bar tender Jada. Not customer friendly.
Beware of your bill after you leave this restaurant. Waitress altered the total to increase her tip and falsified another’s in our party by tossing merchant copy and forging signature on customer copy and giving herself a tip greater than the drink ordered. While the restaurant made it right after contacting them by refunding the altered tips, they didn’t seem too phased by the unethical actions of their staff. I caution future patrons to write intended tip amount and calculate the total along with asking for receipt after running card transaction.
