Tried Culvers for the first time on a work trip yesterday. On a recommendation from some friends I stopped in for lunch before heading back east and I was very impressed.
The food was great. Noticeably better quality than what I can expect from fast food back home if I'm being honest. Just a better burger than what I get at some of the other big name spots. If I had any criticism it would be that the cheese wasn't melted, but it didn't take away from the taste.
What really made our visit special was the staff. They went above and beyond explaining their menu items (I made sure there wasn't a line behind me so I wasn't that annoying person holding everything up). Food service was fast. The young woman behind the register was smiling, polite and friendly. Staff members stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking and even the manager/owner came over to chat with us and spend some time making sure we enjoyed our experience.
Above and beyond what could be expected and truly memorable. Thank you to Erika and her team. Thank you to Culvers. And thank you to Iowa because I know it comes down to the people and their spirit as well.
I'll be back next year!

This was my first experience at a culver's, and it was amazing. The food was very good (I loved the cheese curds!), but the people were amazing. It was clear we were from out of town, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The owner, Erica, even came over and personally welcomed us. We will 100% come back!!
