I was in search of the perfect mocha latte using the windmill coffee house blend. I visited 2 other local shops with the same order and @Daisy Chain won me over with the smooth blend, the perfect froth, and the cute artistry in a cup. It had just the right amount of sweetness and balance of milk where I was thoroughly pleased. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fluke so I came back the next day with the same order and it was perfection in a cup again. My new coffee shop and you should make it yours too.

Stopped in for a coffee while out of town and had an awesome chat with the barista. Super knowledgeable on coffee, specific roasts, where they get their coffee from, and other coffee roasters in the Midwest. 10/10 recommend! It is fairly small inside so I would not suggest coming in with a huge group. In total there’s seating for about 15 people.
baristas were really cool and nice ! Coffee was so good im Gonna be dreaming about this honey cinnamon latte for the rest of my life . Highly recommend

Daisy Chain is such a hidden gem! I stumbled upon it by chance and was instantly impressed by the warm vibe and the care the baristas put into every cup. The coffee is hands-down the smoothest I’ve had in Des Moines—no bitterness, just pure flavor. The space is cozy, the staff are genuinely kind, and the conversations are just as good as the drinks. Easily my go-to spot now.
