I came here to wake up a little but I left fully woke. It was one of my many privileges to visit this bean bar on my trip thru Iowa. Aside from one guy manspreading near the entrance, I would say that I just took a DNA test and it turns out DSM Brew is 100% that bean bar.

Everything seemed so good,it was hard to choose. Loved the pistachio gelato,and very kid friendly. The Carmel macchiato espresso was very wonderful.

The coffee is delicious and the gelato is a must try. There's open mic sorry but I don't know for sure the day and time. It's another reason to stop in. I'm a huge fan of tea, hot and iced, and DSM brew has got them down! I've had a few of them so far; as far as iced I've had the Hibiscus Berry and the Mango Black. Both were fantastic. The blends are done really well and they are very refreshing. I added a bit of sweetener to my Hibiscus Berry because I'm from the south and I was off to the races! It was delicious. I've also tried some of their hot teas, which also are great. They take a few minutes to steep behind the counter, as should be expected from any good tea spot, but just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. The service at DSM brew is top notch as well. They are extremely kind, courteous and informative. They told me about open mic nights they have on Thursdays as well as Art Installations they have around the cafe. It's a cool spot they have and they have really brought some cool events and even local art into the space. I'll be back soon!

Fun and groovy coffee shop! Good ambiance and ordered the herbal mint tea to sit and enjoy while reading. Tea was steeped perfectly and not bitter, with exceptional mint flavor. Nice! Thank you!

It was not only my first time but also the employees first day too - or that is how my experience felt. The vibe and atmosphere is hipster - tall, warehouse style, cement, unfinished ceiling, with white walls, a Get Woke white neon sign decor. But they didn't know what Woke meant - I had asked a couple employees, as I had my own vague idea of what it meant, but they had no idea! I would assume that would be of importance to know your job's slogan?? I ordered a mocha and it was OK on the not bad side, but not great. About 7 minutes for this to be made. My friend ordered a white tea - 10 minutes before this arrived - but not announced by barista. My friend and I stayed about an hour and a half; we met there to catch up. I ordered a caramel cappuccino TO GO to take home- which took 15 minutes and no announcement as to being ready. The barista was also unsure if that was my drink or not - but i did ask her 3 times if that was the caramel cappuccino and she confirmed..... It turned out to be a cup of steamed milk..... Perhaps I picked up someone else's drink? Who orders just a cup of steamed milk though?? 4 bucks for steamed milk, cool. Would I go back? Nah. Good to know what I do not want in a coffee joint.

Bright, clean, fun, interesting and a good cup of tea. The staff were friendly and seemed happy to help. I hope to come back and enjoy the coffee because I enjoyed the whole experience of going to this small sweet coffee shop Monday afternoon and expect it will be great, too!
