Honduran food in Iowa?! Baby, it's the most glorious little restaurant you'll ever dine at. Such a rarity for anywhere, but certainly Iowa. The flavors are so decadent, you can taste the indigenous tribes, African slaves, and marrying of cultures in every bite.

This location has closed and re-opened as a Salvadoran restaurant called La Fe. Also excellent, but only if you want Pupusas not Baleadas.

No one wearing gloves or masks. I asked them why that was they said no one there has the Corona Virus. I guess they don't know anything about a Asymptomatic people. No business when l was there made them appear desperate to the point of ripping me off of money and change. The.food was horrible and would never reccomend it to anyone. They are rude knowingly stealing money and pretend to only know Spanish and refuse to take credit cards allegedly scamming others out of their money. Stay away at all costs! This specific restaurant is in Milwaukee on 14th and Washington.
The food and atmosphere had me almost believing I was in Honduras. Excellent

Actually went to the new El Rincon Catracho 2 around the corner at about 900 Hull Ave. (stand alone building East of Hull Ave Tap) and four of us had a nice meal. The highlights were the guacamole and fried whole tilapia. The little empanada things (can't remember what they're called in Honduras) were quite good too. But the whole fish was cooked hard and fast (in cast iron I think), charred on the outside and moist white fish on the inside. Yum! I only gave 3 stars because they didn't have their liquor license so no beer or cocktails that looked pretty good on the menu.
