Great neighborhood store. Smells like smoked meat as you enter!!!

The meat counter was top notch. Meat was displayed beautifully and offered an abundant selection with quick, professional service. They offer several other grocery items, unfortunately, at convenience store pricing. Great place to grab a steak, with a convenient neighborhood location.

best price for meat in DSM and the service is always top shelf.

They always have the cuts I'm not finding somewhere else. I absolutely love this place!

Helpful staff. Excellent meats! Surprisingly, almost all my purchases were on sale that day. Quality products!

Better than a standard fareway only open 8-8

Great selection of meats, including prime cuts, wagyu, bison, etc.

Nice store, certainly not your typical Fareway

Everytime I’ve gone in there, I get the biggest attitude from the people behind the counter when I ask about cutting the salmon or getting weights so I know how much to buy. Every. Single. Time. The people the check me out are always in a good mood but would rather drive to Hy-Vee then deal with attitude from the guys behind the counter.

Fresh meat and some fish! Buy the amount you need, no matter how small. Very friendly staff! *Chrissy behind the meat counter is so nice and helpful. Has most things you may need for dinner: fresh produce, canned goods, dry goods, dairy, bread, and bakery items. It's NOT an oversized super grocery store. Quick in and out...some good sales on meat (check their weekly specials)! Can be a little pricey at times. A great neighborhood grocery store and meat market 😋

Nice little store in beaverdale it seems to be priced more than comparable things in other fairways but I think it's just the location

Not impressed with my purchase at the meat counter tonight. Ordered sliced beef and sliced turkey. Got home and realized that both packages were labeled as London broil roast beef at $9.99/lb. (Not a bargain in the first place) and am quite sure the turkey was labeled in the counter at significantly lower than $9.99/lb. Also, both packages were labeled "best used by 9.2.24." That's 3-4 days away. Obviously the meat was not too fresh. Not happy and won't be returning. I have always trusted Fareway's meat dept. Not anymore.
