Great tacos especially in Tuesday when they are $1 off. The asada and pastor tacos were delicious. They give you free chips and choice of salsa.

Street tacos because of their blended simple flavors are in full vogue at Faustino’s Taqueria. The variety of marinated meats with a punch of different spices and sauces offers a wagon train of choices. The rice and beans although simple are authentically Mexico. The prices and decor paints an image of any street corner in downtown San Antonio with a very customer friendly staff willing to serve you up a flavorful dish of your choice. The decor may not rock your world but the simple flavors, and bare knuckle prices should $. Go and at least try the fun and playful entrees that are order up single dishes in a small nondescript atmosphere.

The food is really good. But they should really consider getting rid of their white people tax. We know your main clientele is white people. Because the neighborhood you're in is predominantly white. That doesn't mean you have to charge us more than every other taqueria in Des Moines. Your prices are the highest! $3.50 for one street taco? I can go to any taco truck or taqueria in town and get the same thing for $2.50 or less. Quit taxing us because we live in a nice part of town.

I got 4 tacos, I paid 3.50 for each there was more tortilla then meat, seriously I was upset, my asada tasted like tripe meat which to me is an unorganized stove top. I believe they have potential the cooks just have to be more considerate of the money we are spending as customers.

A hidden little gem around the Beaverdale area. Fast, cheap, authentic. The smothered burrito was the size of my head and SO delicious. I loved all the salsas they have at the bar. Staff was so friendly!

This place is just so delicious. Definitely the best Torta I’ve ever had. It’s consistently wonderful and the staff is kind and on top of it. Unique salsa options. I can’t recommend it enough.

Great place. Will be back. Tacos were great, salsas all so good, and loved the Mexican pastries.

Stopped in for some cabeza and tripa tacos which were on point. They had a good amount of well cooked meat on soft tortillas (might have been flour?). Salsas are prepacked into little tubs and labeled by spiciness. They also gave us some legit tortilla chips.

Visiting from another state and I'm so jealous that we don't have this place closer to home! Carnitas had great flavor, no fat, and hardly any grease. The birria taco was amazing too. And their guacamole was delicious. My hubby loved his carne asada burrito, which he loved. Toco Tuesday is a dollar off the tacos! Try it out. It will be your new favorite place.
