Clean, food good but $6 for a soda!!!!! Didn't look at the price on menu because why would you? $20 for 2 tickets for a 11:15am movie on a Friday a bit steep too.

The food has really gone downhill over the past couple of years, especially the entrees. They used to have some of the best chicken tenders around, and now they're very clearly from frozen and just nowhere near as good. It's really cinched that if I do want to eat, it'll have to be from their selection of appetizers or somewhere else.The new payment and order system is great, but they don't pay attention to the fact that some of their sides require a fork, but honestly, the sides aren't good anyway so I guess they did you a favor.The beer, and their guest beer list, is good.

Went to Bob Marley movie tonight (great!); service incredibly slow, new ordering system that doesn’t seem to work well for employees and seems designed to eventually eliminate human contact, food prices insane for what you get and rewards program now no longer counts your food/drink-only based on ticket prices so not really a rewards system anymore. Beer still good and glad to support Merle Hay mall but bad experience tonight-c’mon Flix, do better.

Overall had a great experience here. Food was delicious and so was the drink I had.Theater and restrooms clean. Service great. There was some technical difficulties when the previews were starting. They kept us informed on what was happening and were able to get it resolved and start the movie on time.

Popcorn wasn’t warm, butter added even though we didn’t ask for butter, slow on getting drinks to use, Pepsi and Root beer. They automatically add an 18% gratuity, then you have to hunt down the manager if you disagree with the amount of the tip. .

Much better experience than my last review. Reopened and renovated. Food was decent, sound was great and overall experience was good. Will definitely go again.

I want to go to Alamo Drafthouse!Mom - "Honey we have Alamo Drafthouse at home."Alamo Drafthouse at home: Flix Brewhouse(FYI - The food is mediocre, the theaters are on the smaller side, and occasionally there is a strong 'dumpster' smell depending on the day. Overall I'd recommend going to The Palms or a Cinemark theater (followed by an actual dinner) which you can do for less $$$.)

The staff here were great. The food and theater were just ok. Seats were not very comfortable. It was too hot in the theater we were in. The drink list was good. Their beer was very good! I had a their brewed ipa and their coffee stout. Both were pleasant. Beer aside, I would chose the Palms in Waukee for the comfort aspect.
Me and my family went and saw Wonka a couple weeks ago. Was super excited to finally go to a flix Brew House but in the end was super disappointed. Let me say the waiting staff was amazing. HOWEVER! My reclining seat where the top met the bottom was full of eggs and some form of liquid. Still not fully convinced it wasn't throw up. My shirt and hoodie became wet from even sitting in my seat. Followed by a bathroom visit where the staff clearly watched me walk out of a stall and choose a different one as she was walking thru to "clean" the stalls. She failed to notice there was a puddle of water on the floor to the first stall which was the reason I picked a dif stall. So at the end of the movie my shirt had dried and become crusty and the bathroom floor still had a puddle of water and I was left overall disappointed ?.

I actually love this place but seeing Polar Express today, my breakfast pizza was covered in salt for an unknown reason. Not flix fault but two grown men were talking the entire movie ? no children which I understand talking them but come on dude. Just bummed about food today
