We tried Fong’s for the first time based on a few recommendations. I had to try the Crab Rangoon pizza, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. It was good, but could use more cream cheese umptiousness as it felt kind of dry. Our service was great, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was cozy and unique.

Amazing pizza, friendly staff, and a fun little place. My only issue was, it was a Friday night, they were packed full, and seemed understaffed...and a whole section was closed because they only had one server. Even though people kept coming in and leaving cause there was nowhere to sit.
Wonderful experience with great staff. Our favorite place to stop and eat!

I tried the crab ragoon pizza. My husband had the pepperoni pizza. It was alright. We didn't think anything special. There's an uncharged for specialty pizzas. Great atmosphere and service. I had to try it the reviews were begging me.

This is the worst place in Des Moines. The management is rude and obnoxious and caters to a local crowd that is sleazy and drunk beyond imagination. We ordered 3 pizzas and waited over an hour to be told the kitchen forgot our order. This place over serves and doesn’t care. Never again
Been seeing this place for so long on food/travel shows.. and now I understand the hype!! Soo good, but the establishment is small so get here early otherwise you will have to do reservations.

This was a great restaurant to try new pizza flavors. We tried crab ragoon, Thai peanut, and honey and garlic. I highly recommend their orange cauliflower bites as an appetizer. It was fantastic!

This was highly recommended by multiple food bloggers. WOW. We can see why! Hear me out….they take Chinese food staples and make them into pizza toppings! Ridiculous and delicious. We can see why this place was packed to the brim with customers. We tried the crab rangoon pizza and were not disappointed! Try this place!
Always great food, and cool stuff to look at on the walls. Just stopped in for a couple slices to go and a drink. Always satisfying.
Parking: It sucks I'd walk if at all possible.
