We had the orange cranberry scone, hot chocolate and white chocolate truffle latte. All was good! Wish they did simple latte art but loved the fireplace and cozy vibe.

Styrofoam cups.... REALLY???? Do better. To make matters worse I asked for it for here and that I didn't want the styrofoam cup. Dude still hands it to me in a styrofoam cup.Maybe the "grounds for celebration" is that you make better choices for the planet... and listen to the customer.

No vanilla chi latte. I had ordered a vanilla. No bread, no butter and no silverware as is usual. The staff asked me if I wanted the quiche warm! Don't know about you, but a cold quiche is not for me. I believe that the quiche was frozen; which makes the question about warming it up all the strangerI will not be

Worked here for years. I've worked in coffee for nearly a decade and I'll tell you right now there is WAY better coffee being roasted/made elsewhere locally. The food and soup are NOT HOMEMADE. It's Campbell's and it comes frozen. We would defrost it in the dish sanitizer lmao. Also the quiches are often delivered to us raw/extremely undercooked. The woman who makes them uses 2 Pillsbury pie crusts that she sandwiches together with water. I would get in trouble for throwing away raw quiche because "it finishes cooking in the microwave." Who wants raw dough that's been microwaved?? I would also get in trouble for throwing away moldy fruit (as long as it doesn't touch the other fruit it's "fine" apparently). We were also encouraged to re-steam milk for hot drinks. This is a HUGE no-no in the coffee industry. Who wants milk that's been steamed multiple times over?? GROSS. Especially when you consider how easy it is to just measure the appropriate amount of milk each time so there's none left over to begin with. Also the pastries are NOT HOMEMADE. Technically the scones are, but the filled pastries and cinnamon rolls would come frozen and our frosting is in these big white tubs. Also the owners would steal tips off the tables and keep them for themselves.Zanzibar's, the Slow Down, Ritual Café, and Northern Vessel are all much better alternatives and they're run by more decent people.

This is such a great meeting spot right in the heart of Beaverdale. I love that they also have locally made gifts and cards. Definitely a place to check out for your caffeine fix (they have a drive thru if you are in transit) or need a meeting spot for work or social..... today I saw a small knitting group!

We stopped in late-morning one day and were surprised how many people were there. The coffee and drinks were great and the sandwiches were good as well. The register girl wasn't the friendliest but as she was working alone, it was likely she was just overwhelmed. I've certainly had bad days before and give her grace as there was a line of customers behind us and she was alone making the drinks and keeping things running. Her timing was fast and she got the orders accurate. They had a lot of seating and despite the amount of people, we didn't feel like it was overly loud. A nice place to pop in!

We have been coming here at least once or twice a week (or more…) since we moved to Beaverdale in 2020. We usually just get regular coffee because their coffee beans, which they roast on the premises, are always so good. But their other drinks are also delicious. The limited food menu is fantastic, fresh and homemade. I’ve had some of their soups and quiches and they’re all great. And you can’t go wrong with their pastries either. This location is very spacious with lots of seating. It’s a nice cozy place to read, study, work, or chat. Great atmosphere. I’m so glad to have this place right in the center of our little neighborhood!

Arrived and one ahead of me. Noticed a guy in a work van outside and he came in about a minute after me. Clerk finished with the guy ahead in line and immediately starts making an espresso. Doesn't acknowledge me, no be with you in a second, nothing. Clerk says, "usual Ryan?" He says, " yes" I'm looking around thinkin like I gotta get to work too. She serves his coffee and finally gets to me. Terrible service. I've worked in restaurants for years. I have to be to work at 7am. Starbucks has better customer service.

Drinks are great. Pastries are great. Do NOT eat the food. Just trust me.

I have never had an unpleasant experience at your store until today. The 2 young women attending were clearly upset that they had to be there. And we had guests with us that remarked as such.

Always a clean and comfortable environment. I occasionally use it as a place for informal meetings.

My favorite place to get coffee, a nibble, catch up with friends and family, and do biz with clients. You all are the best in town!

NEVER a bad cup of coffee and the limited food menu is very good (quiche lunch is amazing). Friendly neighborhood feels, great staff, and you’ll find the owners grinding right along with them most days.Oh, and they ALWAYS have brewed DECAF!!

I had a mocha here and it was larger than expected. It was very flavorful with plenty of chocolate that made it more memorable. The ambience of the shop is soothing and relaxing - it is a comfortable place to have a conversation. I would return here again.
