Food is AMAZING! Portion is generous! I have eaten Ethiopian food across the country (Portland Oregon, Chicago, Madison & Milwaukee, Davenport, New York, DC) and this is my top 2 restaurants!

Make sure to come here and give them your business! I want my favorite restaurant in Des Moines to stay open!

Came here with some folks who had been here before, and I was really impressed! It was very reasonable price and the service was incredibly quick since it is done in the style of fast food.

I had the Missir Wot and Gomen which was very well made and had a very nice flavor! The Injura had a really great texture and held up really well.

We will definitely be back in at some point!

My fiance introduced me to Gursha when he lived in the area and I quickly fell in love. The food is delicious, the staff is super welcoming. I crave the Injera all the time. I love coming here! Highly recommend.

I love gursha and the authentic Ethiopian environment they provide! The workers are always friendly and always make me laugh. The food is fantastic and reminds me of back home in Africa, especially the sambusas, doro wat, and zigini. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering!

Very kind and friendly service. The food tasted great and they gave a generous portion of food. My friend and I split a2 person platter and couldn't finish it. My recommendations are the Zigini, Doro wot, and Alicha over rice!

Absolutely love Gursha. After trying all the options, I have settled on my 2 faves (missir wot and ziggini) and if Musah is working, he gets it ready for me as soon as he sees me. Delicious food, good prices, friendly service… can’t go wrong with Gursha.
