Super disappointed, won't be back. Absolutely NOTHING good to say about this place! 😔
Wanted an order of Salmon Roll, Tuna Roll & a beer. Haven't been here in a while. Got greeted by three different people who all subsequently disappeared so I left. Learn some Customer Service and maybe I'll be back.
Second time here. Waitress was so delightful and kind. I love the blue light’s atmosphere. The curry flavors were the best I have ever had and the New Zealand Mussels were fun as a new experience and tasty! Gonna keep coming EVERY time I am doing something at Drake. YUM!
My 6 yr old granddaughter likes sushi. She liked the blue lit walls and boats. Excellent food and service.
I’m so done with Haiku. I live really close by, so I got takeout every so often. The sushi is fine but it’s small and not super filling. There’s definitely better around town, but it’s close and it does the trick. But even if the website says a certain amount of time for pickup, they always make you wait 10-20 minutes longer inside when you go to pickup. And there’s always 5-7 young people just standing around doing nothing. But the real kicker is the fried rice. The beef is grey with a blue tinge to it. And the fried rice itself is mushy and tastes and smells horrible. It looks and tastes like they put a bunch of butter or margerine in it at the end and mixed it up. It tastes really wrong and it’s inedible. If your food and service is going to be that bad, lower your prices. Because I’m done paying the same amount of money that I would for a higher tier restaurant like W Tao
Definitely some excellent sushi in the DM area!
The sashimi is very dry and not fresh. Maybe other dishes are better but avoid sashimi.

This used to be my favorite place. Tonight I went with my daughter and ordered Beef Rolls. We waited for 25 minutes until the waitress came out and said they no longer serve those, despite it being on the menu. I can't eat seafood so didn't want other sushi rolls. We had already been waiting for almost a half hour and didn't want to wait an additional 20 plus minutes. I left hungry and disappointed. Won't be back and I'm bummed.

I cannot express how amazing this restaurant is. Especially since the new management took over. The food was already amazing but now it's even better! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic sushi experience. Since the new management, the service and the atmosphere has significantly improved and throughly impressed me. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. If you're looking for good sushi/ authentic food, with an amazing experience, this is the place to go!

I've discovered they have great curry, personally the red curry is my favorite of the four. The veggie spring rolls and peanut sauce is a new go to. ?

Beautiful restaurant with kind employees. The TNT roll has fresh mango with a sweet drizzle. Tom yum seafood soup was delicious.

To eat here why not,
Options are all around us,
Try the miso soup.
I ordered two rolls to go, the service was great however the rolls were overly soft, and the fish tasted off to the point I couldn't eat the rolls.

Had a final hoorah at haiku before they close/change ownership. Have always adored the staff, loved the food, and have been coming here for over 10 years since we were in high school! Thank you for everything haiku ?
