I love Haiku so much! The sushi genuinely tastes fresh and the service here is always amazing. Our server was so kind and made the experience that much better. The ambiance of the place is nice - they have beautiful blue lights that feel futuristic. Overall, an incredible sushi place and I would highly recommend.

First time here with my wife and absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food was divine. The staff was so nice and welcoming! The shrimp tempura was delicious, the chicken teriyaki was perfect and my wife's Chicken Tonkatsu was amazing! Will definitely dine here

Haiku is one of those places you want to add to your regular rotation and wonder how there isn't a line at the door every night.Once you have sushi here, it kind of ruins every other sushi place because you know it won't be as good as Haiku.It doesn't look like much from the outside as you park in the middle of Drake's campus, but their sushi is fantastic and fresh. Don't mess around with downtown hype: go to Haiku!Kid-friendliness: Our server, Rachel, always makes up some rubber-banded chopsticks so our young girls can use them.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I’ve been a sushi connoisseur since 2006 and have lived in many states from west coast, east coast and several southern states. For some reason Arizona still has the best consistent sushi in my opinion. For Iowa this is my new favorite sushi restaurant with Akibono 515 and Sakari a close second. I started with squid salad and ordered sashimi, sushi and a roll a final course. The sushi was good the sashimi was excellent and the roll was very nice. Quality food that is authentic.
Great food and staff! Very accommodating if you are vegan/vegetarian.

I really like this place! When I first went to Haiku I had never eaten Japanese food before, so I wasn't sure what to have. Luckily for me the waitress and manager were patient with me and helped me out. I ended up enjoying a great meal and leaving the restaurant satisfied. It's safe to say I'll be coming back.
