Best Dutch letter I've ever had. Huge cinnamon rolls were great for breakfast.

We live in Altoona but stop by Cha Cha when we can. It’s great to see multiple small businesses in Highland Park. We’ve never been disappointed with anything we’ve had there. Sometimes we’ll order the crack cream filled donuts ahead.

A friend recommended I visit this bakery and I’m so glad I took the time! There’s a huge selection of baked goods where a very helpful and friendly worker (Kayla) helped me with my selection. The cinnamon rolls were huge, so I cut it into 4 pieces intending to eat only a quarter. However, it was so soft and warm, with such a great balance of frosting that I just couldn’t stop!
My advice to you:
1) Bring a friend so that you are forced to share!
2) Ask for Kayla’s advice because she gives the best pointers!

Alexis & Kyra, amazing cake bakers and decorators, absolutely nailed my daughter’s 21st birthday cake. I was coming from the Chicago area so only communicated with them via email and on the phone, so it was a leap of faith. I sent some inspiration pics and we spoke on the phone about some of our ideas and they brought my vision to life. It was beautiful! Everyone loved it, and bonus, it was delicious! I didn’t expect a bunch of college kids to bother eating cake but they devoured it and raved about it. So thankful to the talented bakers/decorators. We made the mistake of stopping for breakfast elsewhere before picking it up and regretted it when we saw and smelled all of the amazing food in the place! Next time!

To notch service. Nice variety of breakfast sandwiches. Expensive for products and cupcakes were main reason why I went in but the donut holes were my favorite. The cupcakes were similar to homemade from a box feel and texture with cute frosting toppings for the cost was a little. Cinnamon rolls were delicious a d lighter in nature for baked dough consistency. 7.50 for cinnamon rolls to right.

One of my favorite shops in Highland Park!! I have ordered custom cakes and cookies from them, and every time I am blown away by their skill. The cookies they made for my bridal shower were absolutely perfect and had guests begging to know where they were from! The bakery itself is so cozy and the perfect place to just relax with a coffee and pastry.

This bakery is not trying to be cool; it is cool. It's not a fad; it's a staple. NOTE: sometimes the bakery is bursting with customers, but the busyness comes in waves. If the line seems too long, go on a walk around the business district and come back in 10 minutes. Get a coffee and something sweet or savory at a reasonable price.

We found ChaChas on a whim. We are new to the area, moving from South Alabama. Down south, all the Krispy Kreme Donuts shops make the donuts in store so getting a fresh donut is highly likely. We were surprised to find this is not the case with the local Krispy Kreme’s around here. So off we were to find freshly made donuts. When we happened upon ChaChas they had JUST pulled out some freshly made glazed donuts!!! When I tell you these donuts were the best ive ever had- OMG! I was in heaven. Not to mention the kindness of the staff and the ambience of the place! We have family in town and we immediately said- we gotta take them to Cha Cha’s!!!!

✨WOW✨ If you haven’t been to Chacha’s Holland Bakery in Des Moines, you’re seriously missing out! 🥐🍰

The portions are INSANE (in the best way 🙌). The cheesecake and quiche? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection 🤤. And that cinnamon roll… let’s just say it’s big enough to feed 4 people comfortably, but you’ll still wanna keep it all to yourself 😏🍴.

What sets this place apart is the love baked into every bite ❤️ and the staff—top notch! They know their stuff and make you feel right at home 🏡.

Trust me, once you taste it, you’ll be hooked. This isn’t just food, it’s a whole experience! 💯🔥
