Phenomenal coffee. Had both of their single origin pour-overs, both excellent. Even stopped by a third time on my way to the airport. Love the glass reclamation project - glass is easily my preferred coffee vehicle so getting a glass jar to GO?? With a koozie to keep it warm? Perfect for a walk around the sculpture garden. Had three different baristas, all wonderful and knowledgeable.Will be back every time in Des Moines - no question.

I appreciate the stand they’ve taken against plastics- the to-go jars are cute! I got an iced caramel latte the yesterday- the barista was very friendly and gave my daughter a cute cat sticker. The iced caramel latte was so delicious I went back today to try an iced brown sugar latte!

Atmosphere is perfect for a coffee date and together with friends.Lastly, their to-go cups are in glass mason jars, rather than the disposable coffee cups and they offer a discount on your next order if you return the mason jars.Shop that needs to be checked out if visiting or local.

This place was exceptional in every sense of the word. Every new coffee place I go to, I look for this level of quality and skill and I'm almost always disappointed. But Horizon Line is superb. The homemade scones were better than any I've had outside of my mom's kitchen. The coffee was perfectly brewed and the homemade flavors made the difference. Vibes were impeccable, Perfect to study or meet with a friend. Very friendly and patient staff and I can't wait to come back.

Great experience all around! Fair amount of space with a nice, relaxed ambiance, and friendly service. I got the seasonal peppermint sugar cookie latte and it tasted exactly how it sounded and was very good! Also tried the match which was very good!*Cool extra thing they do is they serve to go orders in glass and you can rinse it out and return it when you come back and it'll get recycled.

Great coffee shop. We are from out of town, and on both stops they were Incredibly nice with our kids. Gave them stickers and extremely welcoming and hospitable. Plus, the coffee was fantastic. I had an americano and an iced pour over, and both were exceptional. 10/10! Also, Karl enjoyed his maple latte.

Not only does Horizon Line have the best coffee and creative delicious seasonal drinks, we just love the atmosphere and staff so much! We’re both Deaf and the staff always go out of their way to communicate efficiently with us and make us truly feel welcome and included. If you’re in the area or driving through Des Moines, highly recommend making this stop!
