Booked a room here on a night of travel, room was clean and well kept, nice bathroom and shower. When it came time to checkout the next morning I ask the guy working the front desk for a receipt, he says “I mean I guess I could I’d have to log onto this computer though” I don’t realize it was that hard to log onto the computer to print my receipt. The valet then proceeded to take an hour to get my car, valet manager eventually came in after an hour and a half of waiting...
My wife and I got married at Hotel Fort Des Moines this year. We had a incredible experience. Taylor was fantastic to work with and made the planning process easy and fun! Hotel Fort Des Moines has space to host every aspect of your wedding, rehearsal, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests loved the ease and convenience of having everything in once place! I highly recommend Taylor and Hotel Fort Des Moines, for weddings, events, or for a great place to stay.

Food and drinks: Two restaurants in the hotel are both great.
