4.10.2024 HyVee 4605 Fleur Dr, Des Moines, IA 50321. Stopped in at the can/bottle redemption area. Walked in with my cans and was told that the redemption area closed at 2p. I thought HyVee was a full service store with a smile in every aisle. No where online or the HyVee website do I see a time listed for the redemption area closing at a certain time. I wasted $3 or more in gas driving there and time with my family. I decided not to even shop inside after all this. Maybe the store closes at 2p also?? 4.11.2024 Went back and arrived at 1:45p. This time they closed the redemption area because the supervisor left. Wasted more gas stopping to try and turn in my cans. Since this is being discussed at the statehouse I will contact the governors office. Maybe HyVee can drive to my home this time and pickup my cans/bottles and deposit them at their store when they find the time to do so. I accept cash only when they arrive.

Finally got food no silverware set at the bar, but had to order food at deli . Pay for bloody Mary at the deli send lady to make it because bar is empty.

Horrible customer service- no helpful smile anymore. It's all about profits! Their employees who run the pick up option are unfriendly and don't want to help! They want to substitute with higher priced items to make more money. Not convenient at all!! Shame on you, hyvee!

I was cursed at by Anita for simply asking for a rain check (which I wasn’t even was aware was an option until another employee told me about it). She said she hates her job and as I walked away, she cursed at me. I shop there weekly. The employees know me and my daycare kiddos. I’m shocked.

This is why we love Hy-Vee on Fleur. Even the dog gets excited when he sees the Hy-Vee vehicle delivering meds and such. He loves John (Crystal, too) and they love him back!

Unbelievable staff. Everyone is working hard to make sure all needs are fulfilled! Even though the parking lot is packed you would hardly be able to tell. The entire store is operating so smoothly. The isles are clean and friendly. The staff is oozing helpful smiles. I got everything I need, mailed a packages, made a great friend and was on my way. I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this location. Special thanks to Mark P. A gentlemen. A saint. A savior.

I normally go through my personal cake bakers but they we're booked up. So I was blown away by the Beautiful birthday cakes and amazing employees, I purchased a birthday cake for my daughter's 6th birthday, they had such beautiful cake selection's. I will definitely be coming back

Airport Hy-Vee! This is the grocery store closest to the airport, so if you need travel supplies, it's actually a good place to stop in for a quick shopping spree. I was pleased to see that this Hy-Vee actually has a sort of Iowa pride section- where they have University of Iowa and Iowa State gear, with things that say Iowa on the side of them for no good reason. Go Hawkeyes! There's a large frozen section of this supermarket, and its own liquor store! The beer selection has a bunch of local options as does the liquor store.Parking was easy and I was in and outta there in no time. The self-checkout area was a breeze and I was thankful to make it such a quick pitstop before my flight.

An employee named Christian J. Approached us, he handed us hand drawn art and told us we can keep it. We told him how talented and amazing he was, and how we needed more good people like him in the world to brighten our day. He than said something along the lines of “you never know what a person is going through that day and I try to do good things for people” which We thought was so kind and really did make us feel special. He did make our experience even better and put smile on our face. Thank you Christian!

Customer service in your floral department was outstanding !!!! I believe her name was ivy(but 100 percent sure) I called to get a gift made up for my daughters 18th birthday ! She made great suggestions !!! Made ur look so cute ! Even followed up to make sure someone was going to pick it up ! This lady went above and beyond !! Thank you for making my daughters birthday special !!!

Multiple experiences with poor costumer service. After this last experience we will not be returning. Shelf stocker responds with “yep” when asked if my family and I can get through the isle she was blocking. We respond by laughing at the fact that we were made to feel like we (the customers) were in the way. She seemed very offended that she had to stop stocking her shelf for 1 second for us to get through. As we were walking away she yells “have a nice day!” sarcastically. When I returned to ask her what her name was she gets two inches away from my face and again raises her voice to answer. Very disappointed to have been treated this way while out with my family on a Sunday. Manager was nice however, didn’t ask for my name or any other information to follow up.
