Just as I complained about the slow service at Eau Claire HyVee, I found one with worse service in Iowa.I tried to buy a glass of orange juice. The guy said it cost 5 bucks. I was a little surprised (up in Eau Claire it’s $3.50 plus tax). He then kept telling me how expensive it is, right next to signs promoting their fresh squeezed orange juice. I have never seen something like this: an employee trying to discourage someone from buying their product right next to signs promoting that product. I don’t know if this guy knows. But the embedded coffee shops (Caribou at some HyVee locations and Starbucks at others) generally sell coffee drinks for higher prices. Very bad. Certainly needs retraining.

Our breakfast this morning was not up to Hy-Vee standards. The Sweet Cream Waffle was nothing more than a Belgian waffle, only this waffle was soft and not crisp on the outside. The butter pats were cold and hard and not spreadable. The eggs my husband ordered were not over hard, but a well done version of over easy. His potatoes were not hot, as if they had been scooped out of a container of pre-fried potatoes. We hope the next time we visit, the cooks will not be in such a hurry, though it wasn’t crowded.

I was cursed at by Anita for simply asking for a rain check (which I wasn’t even was aware was an option until another employee told me about it). She said she hates her job and as I walked away, she cursed at me. I shop there weekly. The employees know me and my daycare kiddos. I’m shocked.

This is why we love Hy-Vee on Fleur. Even the dog gets excited when he sees the Hy-Vee vehicle delivering meds and such. He loves John (Crystal, too) and they love him back!

An employee named Christian J. Approached us, he handed us hand drawn art and told us we can keep it. We told him how talented and amazing he was, and how we needed more good people like him in the world to brighten our day. He than said something along the lines of “you never know what a person is going through that day and I try to do good things for people” which We thought was so kind and really did make us feel special. He did make our experience even better and put smile on our face. Thank you Christian!

Customer service in your floral department was outstanding !!!! I believe her name was ivy(but 100 percent sure) I called to get a gift made up for my daughters 18th birthday ! She made great suggestions !!! Made ur look so cute ! Even followed up to make sure someone was going to pick it up ! This lady went above and beyond !! Thank you for making my daughters birthday special !!!

Multiple experiences with poor costumer service. After this last experience we will not be returning. Shelf stocker responds with “yep” when asked if my family and I can get through the isle she was blocking. We respond by laughing at the fact that we were made to feel like we (the customers) were in the way. She seemed very offended that she had to stop stocking her shelf for 1 second for us to get through. As we were walking away she yells “have a nice day!” sarcastically. When I returned to ask her what her name was she gets two inches away from my face and again raises her voice to answer. Very disappointed to have been treated this way while out with my family on a Sunday. Manager was nice however, didn’t ask for my name or any other information to follow up.

We love to get the Chinese food to go on workout nights. It makes it a quick and easy to feed the kids and it’s a healthy option.

Had a terrible time. Long wait for cold food. Not busy, just slow service. They gave me a 10 dollar gift card to use as apology. Came back today, guess what they won't take....that is not valid for here. YOU GAVE IT TO ME! Lesson learned.
