If you're wondering where the best Thai cuisine is in Des Moines Iowa, there's no better place than JJ Jasmine! Today I had the eggplant tofu stirfry. If you're wanting a Dave Portnoy barstool review 9.2

I went here after losing a round at the National Debate Tournament this past summer; everything was so homey and quaint that it brought me back to peace and truthfully restored a lot of my energy and happiness after a big disappointment. One of the waitresses (whom I presume to be the daughter of the restaurant owners?) was so nice to me and my team and the entire establishment felt like family even thought it was only our first time there. The food was also great and I miss it a lot! I think about that place so much and I just had to finally leave a review after all of these months—and I'm excited to go back if I'm ever back in Des Moines!!

Review: Food and service was amazing! The food was tasty and the owner was super nice. I have a 4 star review because of how difficult it was to find and not having a changing table. If you have young children with diapers they didn’t have a changing table heads up!
We had two Panang curry (coconut chicken with red curry), a taro bubble tea, and mango bubble tea.
Directions: Go to walnut street and enter the public entrance of HotelKirkwood and up the stairs. Once you’re up the stairs, make a left and it’s right there! If you need handicap or stroller accessibility, enter capitol building across the street, take the elevators, and then the skywalk across to get to JJs.
Excellent food, fast service.

Worst this fried rice ever, wish I could give zero stars, insisted very spicey but was given no spice, food has no flavor just soy sauce and peas, never coming back here, will go to real thia restaurant at Ingersoll . The front desk girl was so rude, talking to people as if we are forced to come there, never again

Friendly staff helped me pick my meal and also gave me hot sauce samples with my meal. The food was amazing. I had the spicy Thai basil and an order of shrimp spring rolls. The price is perfect and the food is delicious!!!

We are visiting Des Moines from far away, and we’ve had Thai food in many many cities…
We were not let down, amazing service and generous portions. We will come back anytime we are in Des Moines. We had the Pad See Ew and the pad Thai with chicken!
