Always quick and fresh

Today was the annual day of giving where all money was donated to charity. I called in my order so I wouldn't have to wait in line long to get my family dinner. That kind of backfired. As I stood there watching the never-ending line keep going and going, my call in order bag stayed empty. Many food delivery drivers kept coming and going with others' calls in orders. A couple of employees asked what order I was waiting on, and I let them know. It was very busy, and everyone behind the counter was busting their butt making sandwiches with what looked like no mistakes. Back to me, the line finally ended, and outgoing orders were getting filled, but I still had nothing. They all finally had a break in customers, so clean up started and bathroom breaks got started. About 3 or 4 employees acknowledged I was there and still waiting, so they quickly filled my order, offered me chips and a brownie for my troubles. I told them their lucky we love the sandwiches! Anyway, I took the food home and the food was like always, great! I've never had the brownies or cookies, so that was a nice treat. Hopefully, others will understand my take on this evening. Yes I had to wait but it was very busy because of the promotion. Yes, I was past over many times, so others could get their food, but I wasn't in a hurry because of the promotion. I think out of all of the things going on, misplacing my ticket was probably the worst thing that went on during all this. So here's a big KUDOS to all the staff at this location!!! I will be back many times, I'm sure!

Stopped in and had a #13 last week. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and served a great product. I’ll be going back very soon!

I love Jersey Mikes! We ate in the dining area which is so uncommon these days, and the manager (I presume) gave us a free cookie which my toddler thoroughly enjoyed.

Been coming to this location for years getting the #13 or the #43. Food quality is always excellent and the workers are generally friendly. This is the best cold Italian sub compared to the other chains. It also has more meat than the other chains. The #43 chipotle cheesesteak is good but it needs more meat so I order it with extra meat.

The only complaint I have at this store is that they don't balance their online orders well with in store ordering customers. There has been numerous times I have ordered in the app at least 10 minutes prior to walking in the store. I'll stand at the counter and half the time I'm not acknowledged for over 5 minutes. I'll give them my name on the order and wait. I'll then watch multiple brand new customers walk in line, order, pay, and get their food before my sandwich is made. It's like your penalized for ordering online because they don't make orders in the order they are received. The last example of this was Feb 2nd at 2:51pm.

Went to this jersey mikes for dinner. The manager decided to try and train new employees when the door was extremely busy. I understand the need for stores to train employees but it comes to a point where the employees making the food were so incompetent that it took over 20 minutes for everyone in the store to get there food. jersey mikes is my favorite sandwich shop but I will NEVER go to this location again. Thank you for the terrible service from the manager.

Good crew at this store. Even during the lunch rush, they seem to be on top of every order. Only advice I got is to get that parking lot marked and remove the broken table. Been broke all summer.

Just bad, going down hill fast… current staff is rude… oh well, Cheba Hut is open and 10x better.

We went there and ws going to order food. The lady that was at the counter snd the other short hai light skin and the other person no binary worker laughed at us when we asked if there wa chicken in the chicken. Acon ranch sandwich. Which what they should of let us know instead of laughing at us and humiliating us is that it is a chicken patty, or it is chicken strips,or it is chicken lunch meat. Period I will tell others about jersey Mike's snd I will.never go.there again.
I will be calling corporate for the general manager number and asking what steps I need to take for bei g humiliated inf rotnnof my family I. From. Of people I do not know. I even have a speech slur so I thought they was making front of the way I speak. I have never felt so embarrassed and angery, over some si.ple question that could of be dealt with respect and the same kind of curotisty and I gave them employees as I cmr.into buy alot food. No we was laughed at and mocked liek we ae I. High school it seemed they was on drugs eyes filled with red color and the non binary worker at register neve changed gloves touched food, wiped off counter, then touched a receipt and wiped th counter off again the. Went to qrap a ladies sandwich up with same gloves on.
I want them to watch a video or have more training g on respect of their customers and also Mayne a video on hoe to people handle good with gloves on. And last but not least as my family nd I was leaving g the lady that was helping us eith light skin tone yelled at us really? How wold of she felt if their would of happened to her. as the saying goes one person tells 3 and 3 tells 6 and 9 tells 20 people. It's sad really d very unprofessional

I placed a pickup order at 5:16pm and app said order would be ready at 5:30pm. Arrived at 5:45pm and it took until 5:50pm to get assistance. Teenager at register stated it would take 10 minutes. He then confirmed with cook that 10 minutes was accurate. Cook looked at ticket and said with 2 gluten free sandwiches it would be a while. Grill started to be cleaned at 6:05 pm and order was started at 6:10 pm. Let me point out that while standing there waiting I watched the counter fill up with other pick up orders and people walk in put in their order and receive it while I was there. Someone obviously made a conscious decision not to fill my order in a timely manner because of the gluten free sandwiches. Jasmine attempted to give me a cookie and I refused because of allergies at 6:20pm. At 6:23pm more than an hour after my order was placed I received my order finally. My specific instructions in my order were to write names on the sandwich package and to bag the gluten free separately. Neither instruction was followed. Jasmine gave me 2 coupons for 3 sandwiches and I told her i should receive 3 because our order was due at 5:30pm. She said no and that we could leave and didn't need to return to the store. Not once did she apologize or provide an explanation. I was not happy and yelled going out the door thanks for not saying I'm sorry. I would have been happy with the 2 coupons and an apology. Jasmine lacks the skills to be a manager if she can't apologize to a customer for a decision she probably made. I feel that Jasmine was discriminatory in her actions because of the food allergies and her overall actions. Jersey Mike's as a company has practices in place to accommodate customers with food allergies but this employee seems to have decided to not provide your typical great service becsuse of it.

My sister and I came to visit my mother in Des Moines and we decided we wanted Jersey Mikes for dinner.

Tonight has been my worst experience by far at any food place I have ever been to. We placed our order through the app as of 5:16pm. It said it would be ready by 5:30pm. I know it takes longer to make gluten free sandwiches because they have to clean the grill so I did not arrive until 5:45pm to pick up my food.

When I got there hardly any customers were in the store. 2 people were in line to order and 2 people were standing waiting for doordash. I ended up waiting a few moments before asking if my order was ready around 5:50pm. They checked and found it had not even been started yet and that it was quite a few tickets behind the others for the grill. I was told it would be about 10 minutes by the kid who was working the register.

The kid then went to check if he had told me correct by the guy on the grill. The guy went to check my ticket and started laughing saying, "yeah good luck with that. It's got gluten free. Its gonna be awhile."

He then proceeded to make 8 sandwiches and none of them were mine. I had doordash drivers come in after me who received there food before me. I watched the guy on the grill move tickets that were behind mine forward.

At 6:05pm I watched the guy on the grill finally start cleaning the grill. By 6:10pm he started making 2 gluten free sandwiches. And did not pay attention to the fact that #65 was not supposed to have jalepenos and yet seem to have a ton of them on the sandwich.

By 6:21pm all sandwiches were done. The manager (Jasmine) tried to hand a cookie off to me and another customer who had been waiting almost as long as me. But considering I cannot eat it nor does that make up for waiting nearly an hour from the time my food was supposed to be ready I did not want it.

The manager seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and kept throwing hateful looks towards my mother and me after we would not accept her offer. She then went back behind the counter pulled out her phone, messed with it for a bit then pulled some vouchers out. She offered us 2 of them for our 3 sandwiches. My mother thought it was more reasonable to have 3 vouchers since our order was for 3 sandwiches and the manager disagreed.

All sandwiches were put in the same bag. I specifically put special instructions on my order for the gluten free sandwiches to be put in a seperate bag. I have never had any trouble with this at any other store. The manager said, "We don't do that." I explained that I have asked at other stores and had no problem. I was then told by the manager "Well you don't have to come here. You can go to another store. And you can leave."

I feel like this was a personal attack against me due to my food allergies and I do not appreciate it. I was not asking for anything special just for the considerations that I know are in place by this company. Its normally why I love coming to Jersey Mikes

Had a sudden change of plans and needed a scheduled delivery order placed through the app sooner. I called in trying to move up an order, got told I couldn’t, and then tried to cancel the order (which the Jersey Mike’s app says I must call the store for) and in asking to do so I got some negative attitude back. As the crew member was going to grab a manager I could hear her saying “I’m not dealing with this” and a few other things about me she thought I wouldn’t hear her say (and that’s why you put the phone on mute!) The manager was more professional at least but still was unable to cancel my order.

Doing my business solely through the Clive location from now on

Update: They still sent me the order anyways even though I asked it to be cancelled, and I wasn’t at my apartment to pick it up. Just pure laziness to not cancel it.

Update 2: They said they were going to call me the next morning to arrange a refund. I never received said call. I figured as such but it is disappointing to see that their staff’s undisciplined attitude starts from the leadership. This should have been a very easy situation for them to handle and they chose to make it much more difficult than it needs to be. Save your money and avoid this place.

Nice warm place for a good lunch on a cold snowy afternoon. Ashley and the team took care of me and my friends quickly with great attitudes. The music they were playing rocked and the sandwiches and salads were on point. Can’t wait to come back!
