I leave my house 15 minutes early to grab some food before an important meeting I had to get to. Going through the drive through for the quickest way for food. Or so I thought.
After ordering 1 cold cut Sub I get to the window. 10-12 minutes go by before I’m even greeted at the window. So I’m thinking maybe the made my sandwich and decided to wait for payment until it’s done? Sure.
They take my payment and proceed to tell me “we will have that out shortly…no one has started making my sandwich?
There’s no one in front of me in the drive through, there’s no one behind me in the drive through and I don’t see anyone in line at the counter. After multiple glances through the window I see workers avoiding the work counter like the plague.
After being stuck in the drive through for 20 minutes needless to say, I arrived late to my meeting and will have to prioritize other Jersey Mike locations in the future.
The lady with the numbers tattooed behind her ears wasn’t the most friendly. That added for a worse experience.

Food is great, service is horrible, unless your ordering on the spot. I go when it’s not busy and they’re always slower, the lady at night who just stays on her laptop just doesn’t care but her laptop but what can you expect from people who make minimum wage. Jimmy John’s it is from now on.

Every Friday I stop by this Jersey Mike's to pick up lunch for me and my husband. The employees are always friendly and make my sandwich/salad exactly how I like. Today was a different story. I ordered a #56 and a #14 in a bowl. I told her I wanted extra tomatoes and sweet banana peppers on the bowl. She took about 4 slices of tomato and about 3 pepper slices and literally slammed them on top of the lettuce. When I asked for more tomatoes and could she please chop them up along with the cheese and green peppers she slammed them down again and proceeded to mutilate them. Wow! I'm not sure what her problem was, but what a RUDE person.

While Jersey Mike’s is known for its fresh ingredients and flavorful subs, my recent experiences have highlighted some serious concerns with service. The level of professionalism among staff often falls short of expectations, especially considering the brand’s reputation.
On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed that even when the store is not busy and there is no one in line, the service can be surprisingly slow. Simple orders take far longer than they should, which creates unnecessary frustration for customers who expect efficiency. This lack of urgency not only delays orders but also gives the impression that staff are disengaged or inattentive to customer needs.
For a fast-casual establishment, timeliness and professionalism are just as important as food quality. Unfortunately, Jersey Mike’s in this case has not met that standard. More consistent training in customer service and time management would make a noticeable difference in the overall experience.
Until improvements are made, it’s difficult to recommend this location to those who value efficiency and professionalism in addition to good food.

Clean establishment. Grabbed a quick sandwich meal after work. I tried the Hot Honey sandwich. It was okay.
Danny kept telling us to have it Mike's way, so we did. One of the best subs I have eaten, #13 Mike's Way. Friendly staff , clean and a nice deli vibe. LOVED IT!!!

The staff at Jersey Mikes on Fleur in Des Moines is top notch. We eat there at least once per week for work, and even if they are slammed they get me in and out quick! Ive never had any problems with our orders, which we bring in on a sheet of paper and just hand to them-- so awesome! The staff always chat with me about random daily topics, and prepare the sandwiches perfectly! They are fast and efficient, and keep the counters super clan and tidy. We will continue coming back to this location, they have won our business for a LONG TIME!

Ordered 5 subs. 3- Big Kahuna which were absolutely. Delicious! 2- Buffalo Chicken, We we're completely surprised by how good this sub was. Wild Bill's staff at the Fleur Dr. location were absolutely amazing! Will definitely keep going back.
