Ken's - a not so secret speakeasy

The food was tasty, the drink selection was great, but it took 30 minutes for me to get a drink after I ordered at the table and I think the waiter forgot about me. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night.

We walked in was told one drink only. Moved on… we have been in several Speakeasies in 3 states. We loved the Iowa tap room & wanted to come back to Ken’s. Disappointed

Ken’s is a very nice speakeasy and it’s no secret. Food was good and drinks were also really good. Being from Texas it was nice to taste some of the local beer. Sorry no pics I can’t believe it myself. Well I guess your gonna have to come see for yourself. Thank you to all the staff. We were on a company sponsored event and Ken’s knocked it out of the park. Overall a great experience.

Cool little speakeasy to distract ourselves while waiting for dinner upstairs. Delicious lobster artichoke dip started our experience accompanied by a smooth honey nut old fashioned. Coupled with amazing service started our night off right.

The food is always perfect! The drinks are always perfect! The staff is awesome no matter who you get! Honestly, this is one of my favorite places in DSM!

Stopped in on a quiet Thursday night and was impressed with the ambiance, the service and drink quality. We will be back!

Great drinks and great atmosphere. Also a fun place to wait while you are waiting for your table upstairs. But still would come for some drinks any day of the week.
