Ramen was meh. Krunkwich Ramen was too salty, like heart disease inducing salty. I can't exactly recall the names or how many toppings there were, but the broth itself was pretty salty, and on top of that was some tofu or pickled topping that added more to the saltiness and the Kimchi added an extra amount of salty. I'm aware the restaurant may be doing a fusion with other cultural foods...but keep ramen as ramen; don't push the idea of so hard that it's not going to resemble ramen. Noodles were cooked to proper firmness at least.

Dark, funky, order-at-the-counter joint serving inventive and flavorful Japanese food stuffs.

Vegan ramen! Great flavor and consistency of noodles

This is a great, laid back place to get your vegan on but take friends and family that haven't yet seen the light. The ramen is so good you may not want to try anything else on your next trip, but everything is good to great, so don't worry, it will be yummy!

Curry ramen is a mix of plain green curry and chicken without any flavor. Spicy ramen is worse than instant ramen.

My first time here the service and the food was exceptional the music was a little bit too loud for my taste and a little bit too flamboyant as far as verbage but I'm sure that it fits the ambience of the restaurant I will come back.

Stopped for lunch. You order at the counter and then find a seat. We both ordered chicken ramen. I had a soft boiled egg on mine for extra. The dish was large--neither of us could finish ours. I thought it was fine. Perhaps a bit disappointing. Friend enjoyed the mild taste. Service was pleasant. Perhaps another dish would have more flavor.

Great murals around the store. Amazing Cool bathroom too. The cashier was very friendly and efficient. Do not know her name but she did an amazing job.

Delicious and filling, and great prices. It's not the most "authentic" or "sophisticated" ramen, but it's definitely comfort food. I love going here every time. Most recently, I had the chicken ramen with roasted corn. Quite tasty, and surprisingly light.

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately was disappointed. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could and I might give it another try one day. They certainly have a unique menu which I love. When I first arrived the inside had a pretty intense smell that I didn't really like. I'm not sure if something got burnt or if it always smells that way in there. It's not a huge building and has low lighting with a very relaxed vibe. It's a seat-yourself and order at the counter kind of place. There are bottled/caned drinks in a fridge (that I would buy next time)... there are fountain drinks but I tried every single one and they were all off (semi-flat with little taste). I've seen other comments about the drink fountain so I don't think it was a one off. They have thai iced tea on the menu but apparently they only make that sometimes during the summer? I ordered the kimchi fried rice which was decent and Hubby got the Seoul Ramen (meh). We got Tot-Mi to share. I like the "whiz" part and would go there for that again (but probably the bbq tots next time). The kitchen staff were very friendly. I think as far as vegan options go, this is a good place to try out.

I am happy to say my Sunday jaunt to Krunkwich Ramen House was delightful, the food and atmosphere lived up to my expectations. Blending in with adjacent shops, the restaurant is relatively small, but it compensates for its small size with a lively atmosphere characterized by playful art adorning the walls. A friend and I ordered the Pulled Pork Ramen, one of the larger dishes on the menu priced reasonably under $10. This is not a table service restaurant, rather you order (and pay) up front and the food is brought to you with no additional table service. Our food arrived fast, and was far more interesting visually than I imagined. I don't believe Pulled Pork Ramen most accurately describes the contents of the dish, as there were many smaller ingredients aside from the ramen and pulled pork scattered about—I could only recognized diced green onion. Regardless of whether you can name all the ingredients, the food itself was terrific. The broth was flavorful, and the sheer quantity of ramen and pulled pork easily justified what I spent. I found myself staying at the restaurant for nearly an hour, partly due to the amount of food but also from the enjoyment of the experience. Not much to complain about here.

Visiting from out of state and popped in here for lunch with my parental units after seeing they had plenty of vegan options. I ordered the Seoul Bowl and the FIRE vegan kimchi tots (that the anti vegan dad oddly enough enjoyed as well). Liked both, and the crispy seitan was a really good texture (I'm a texture gal), but those kimchi tots ... I'd drive 5 hours for any day. Both units ordered the crispy pork belly and mushroom stir-fry. This is 100% their opinion, as I have no way of judging, but they both stated that the pork was a bit too fatty, but isn't pork belly supposed to be pure fat? Portions are mega, and I had plenty of leftovers too, which was nice. Just a little bummed that they didn't have bottled water as stated on the menu, but I'll pay for an overly-priced grapefruit LaCroix any day, being the basic girl that I am. Definitely Asian-fusion and not authentic ramen, but as long as you know that going in, it's pretty good. Very friendly employees, and cute happy kitty walls. A little dirty, but like the fun kind of dirty, where you know the food will be good. Will definitely visit again.

The kimchi and bulgogi beef surprisingly paired really well with the cheese wiz and tater tots.
