Wow! For years I have been looking for a Mexican restaurant in Des Moines with flavors like they have here. Their Cabana Queso with chorizo and grilled mushrooms is a must. The depth of flavor is amazing. Chicken & Beef fajitas had a nice char. Margaritas were tasty and the service was awesome!

Random stop and was a great experience! Super good wings and homemade sauce with them! Kiddo had a quesadilla and fries and wife had the guacamole mexicano. All of the food and service was great! Definitely try the wings if you're in the area!

Amazing atmosphere and very quick service! I am impressed as I witnessed one waitress handle the entire dining room by her self on a busy day! Wow! Amazing! Also witnessing the chef help get a large group served all at once by coming out with the remainder of plates with the waitress! Two individual with 8 tables!!!!

I have been a patron of La Cabana since 2019. They have always exceeded my expectations. Every staff member is kind and attentive. This is hands down my favorite restaurant for a comfortable and welcoming environment for the evenings we don't want to cook. Big shout out to Alondra, Alexa, Katelynn, and Juan for always providing a wonderful experience!

The puerquito marinero was fabulous! Perfect amount of heat in the sauce and simply delicious! My dinner partner had the seafood combo and said the shrimp was grilled to perfection. Service was excellent. Ambiance is simple and unpretentious— a little loud, perhaps, but we had no difficulty carrying on a normal easy conversation. Serving sizes are generous and the price very reasonable. I will be full for days, but it was so worth it!
