This place is one of my low key favorites when I am visiting family in Des Moines or just happen to be passing through town. It is close to another awesome spot in Thai Flavors and becomes a two for one to go order stop of deliciousness with some diversity thrown in to your day. I seriously order 10-12 papusa of assorted flavors and if you don't know what those are google what you have been missing out on. The todo is super tasty, but my wife and I love them all. They have traditional beverages as well that are a special treat and unique. View the pictures below at the menu items. I hate to give away my little spots, but this place is too good not to share anymore! Highly highly recommend!Vegetarian options: They have a spinach and cheese only papusa.Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs available.Parking: There is plenty of parking as it is close to a huge Walgreens lot.

Try to order over the phone but the people there said no english, please try to have someone there that can speak english to take order. Thank you
Melissa was so quick to get our drinks and orders in. She was very kind and was cleaning tables doing everything. I was very impressed with the service she provided. It's very hard to find employees these days with great attitude and such passion to help their hungry customers. Our food was so good. These are the best Pupusas in Iowa. I had some cheese ones, chicharron ones (pork cracklings) and loroco (herbs and cheese). Our friends and I took 2 people that have never tried pupusas in their lives and they were in love. We took some for the office and they loved them.

Pupusas here are great. Service is casual but friendly. We usually get our order as takeout, but would be a nice place to eat with friends. Really affordable for filling and delicious food.

They cooked my eggs with oil that was used for frying fish the meat was chewy and stretchy rice was clumped up and they gave me beans in a tiny cup with a lid the hot sauce container was bigger than the one beans was in. I highly recommend a different place

Clean place, polite service, however there is no sounds other than people eating, no music, no TV's...
Food is good but nothing like home.
