I visited on a school trip of 50+ students. Melissa was an absolutely amazing waitress. I got the camarones a la crema and a horchata. Both were very delicious!! I highly recommend visiting!!

Delicious, authentic papusas at a great price!! Very filling too. I had the todo and ajo papusas and recommend both, but the todo was probably my favorite.

First I came for pupusas, they were so good and everything else looked so good on the menu that I had to come back again before I left Des Moines & I'm so glad I did. Their pupusas are big & prices very reasonable. The staff were so friendly & the food came out quickly, I will make a point to come to this restaurant every time I'm in the Des Moines area.

I tried pupusas for the first time in my life at this restaurant, and overall, it was a good experience. The pupusas were served hot and fresh. I ordered a variety of flavors, including chicken, pork, and garlic. They all have very enjoyable taste, and what I really liked is the dough. It was nicely cooked, very soft.
However, the amount of protein inside the pupusas was a bit disappointing. The fillings were tasty, but there were only a few small pieces of chicken and pork in each one. I was hoping for a more generous portion of meat. But the cheese inside was great.
I also tried their beef fajita. It was very good, well-seasoned and cooked just right. The beef was tender and not too chewy, which I appreciated. It came with a nice mix of vegetables. When we were there, there were only one waitress and she was friendly, though we did have to wait about 15–20 minutes for our order, which felt a bit long. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. They have plenty of tables. I don’t think you would need to wait to be seated.
Overall, I would recommend this place for ones who want to try pupusas.

The food is amazing if you are looking for diversity but it’s a little empty! Get some more people here!! They deserve the hype even if their location is a little harder to find.

Really great service and food too.
Strange way to get there and the diner decor is not Salvadorian. But why spend money to change that when the food and service are why we are there?

Food poisoning is what I gained from my experience eating there. I reached out to Door Dash and of course they don't care. They wanted a photo, as if you can see food poisoning. It sucks that I paid to be sick for going on 2 nights now. I will never eat their food again.
