This is no longer the LA Hacienda. It has a brand new name. We had fajitas...mine was shrimp. Very good and lots of shrimp.
I am a bit skeptical as to whether this place will make it. They did seem to have some higher end "specialty" items...but they were also extremely pricey. And I do mean pricey!!! Not the typical pricees for a family restaurant.
I hope they do well.

This is still online as La hacienda. It is in maps as the same. We called to place a reservation for my birthday dinner and were still not informed that it was completely rebranded. It is no longer la hacienda. They have mostly seafood with some choices for tacos like steak or chicken. This was disappointing when we arrived as we had come out for mexican food not seafood. When I placed my order I asked for only one chicken taco and rice. When it came out it was a 3 chicken taco plate and I did not receive the rice I had asked for. They had switched my order from one taco to a meal off of the menu. When told upon receiving the tacos that it was wrong the waiter had told us it was ok and we could still take it so I did. The receipt came back and had the full meal on it. Again upsetting as it is not what I had asked for and was told I could just take it since it was already made. The chicken was cold and so was my rice. Some people in my party did not receive their side dish that is offered with a meal on the menu. Everyone else in my party had also stated that their food was cold. Even though all this happened we still paid because we did eat as we were not going to move a 15 party people to a whole new restaurant. We were all disappointed and will not return as it was not a very good experience.

2024/03: Apparently under new management and completely renovated the building inside, including moving walls and major structural changes. New menu and new staff, very polite and responsive, the new menu is heavily tilted towards seafood and the prices are quite modest, portions are large and food is very tasty.2023/07: same. Management approves of running, yelling and screaming children who are unsupervised by adults. Screaming wad so bad we left early. Hostess said "too bad, this is acceptable here".Our group will likely never return.______________2021: OK food, poor service and surly hostess. Good prices.
Kid-friendliness: Too friendly, see review above.

La Hacienda has apparently closed.
I do apologize, but this is a very long post based on the experience that we encountered this evening, I wish I could’ve given zero stars!! Tonight’s service was horrible. When we arrived, we noticed we were the only guest in the restaurant which gave off red flags but we were seated pretty quickly and helped pretty quickly, Granted the waitress was very nice had a very hard time understanding what we were ordering but no biggie we got through it, mind you this was a party of two paying separately we ordered 4 margaritas two for each party two orders of the Brea tacos one for each party, and a appetizer of ceviche as we thought but when we were ready to leave, we were waiting on the bill, but was never given one and was told we could pay upfront. When it was all said and done we were ready to pay and was told $139.89. Which caused some questioning due to what was ordered per party. So we asked was the bill together versus separately which we were fine with if so but still thought that was a little high for what we ordered we were then informed no the bills were already separated. We asked to look at the receipt as we did not get one at the table on the receipt we noticed we were being charged for more than what we had ordered everything was doubled should be a quick fix right!!! no it caused an argument as if we were trying to get over on them. She then separated the bill based off of what we explain to her what we had ordered separately after the 1st person paid $34 and some change. The second person was informed her total bill will be $47 and some change. We didn’t understand where the difference came in as again we ordered the exact same thing, she explained that the ceviche alone was $17.99 which was placed on the second payers bill but the totals I have provided still does not equal the amount of $139.89 We tried to advise that the waitress informed us we could order the ceviche as an appetizer, and not a meal deal which comes with two other items that we did not get, but we was informed when it was time to pay that is incorrect an a error on the waitress, and they are not honoring what the waitress had informed us and since we ate we pay mind you the first party had already paid for their bill, in the end we we paid and let it be but I feel as we were being overcharged based on the lack of customers they received that day, and I will never be back. This was the worst experience I have encountered throughout 2023.

Portions are smaller than they used to be. My husband only ate half of his dinner because he didn't like it at all. We probably won't be back.

This happened about a year ago. But I found a cockroach in the lettuce of the food I was eating. I left after and I won't be going back.

Arrived around 19:30, they weren’t busy at all so we were seated rather quickly. Our server had a bit of trouble speaking English but she was so nice and polite. We ordered a Peach Margarita, a Corona, Seafood Chimichanga and the Burrito Locos with Steak. Margarita taste like water. Weakest Margarita I’ve ever had at a Mexican Restaurant; but baby the food made up for it. Everything was amazing. The amount of seafood and flavor in that chimichanga was the best I’ve ever had. The burrito was loaded with steak from beginning to end, even the chips and salsa was good. I’d definitely recommend and visit again when I’m in the area.
