Louie's Wine Dive

What a gem! We went to listen to the music, but were very pleased with the menu selections and our server was amazing!

I truly appreciate the fact they have so many gluten free options. And if it isn't gf on the menu, the menu indicates if it can be modified. The food was delicious and drinks were great.

Louie's is always very good. I dine there whenever I'm in town. I wish they had less high top tables so that you don't have to be seated in the overflow room when the few tables in the main room are full. I'd like to see more daily specials or some more changing menu selections. If you dine there often it gets limited. I love the cocktails.

We were there on a Wednesday night. We would like to see different menu items. It says that they have their new summer menu, but it doesn't appear to me to have much of a change from the last time we were there in the winter. Wait staff is attentive but not over the top. Enjoyed the live music! Ordered the baked goat cheese as a happy hour app which was fabulous but the pita triangles were minimal and we had to order a complete order of pitas to eat the last 2 remaining servings. Not very customer friendly in my opinion.

Always love coming to Louie's. My friend and I ate here as a celebration for her being pregnant. She is not pregnant with her second, so of course we had to come and celebrate again!

We had reservations for a group of 11 on a Saturday. They took such good care of us. The service was great and our food was great. I highly recommend Louie's Wine Dive!

Our waitress gave us extra time to decide what we wanted but still let us have the Happy Hour Price on things. The food was delicious and my wine was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

Attentive server (even on a busy Saturday night), fast service, delicious gluten free options (like fish and chips, which I never find gluten free!), and reasonable prices.

Service was great! Food was amazing. We would ask to sit in a little lower traffic area next time, but there will definitely be a next time very soon!

It was another great Sunday evening at Louie's Wine Dive. The food and service was great , but the jazz duo was amazing. You can't experience this kind of music experience at a restaurant anywhere else in Des Moines ...especially on a Sunday night. I encourage you to experience the food and wonderful jazz!

Our server/head bartender was exceptionally kind and attentive. The food was delicious, the atmosphere friendly. Chuck made our night special, though. Thanks, Chuck!

Not great. A series of mishaps including forgetting to cook our ticket, forgetting food items that should have been included, and generally not particularly appealing food that wasn't worth the premium. It looked sloppy and was nothing special at all.
