I love lucky lotus, it’s my favorite place to eat in Des Moines. Especially a big fan of the drunken noodle here! Taste is authentic and yummy! I also get the mango sticky rice, and lychee lemonade. My partner loves their Thai tea. Sometimes it’s a bit busy, but the fast casual atmosphere makes it fun.

Lucky Lotus has incredible vegan food, fully labeled menu, and amazing ambience! I drive out an hour just to go here and get their crunchy rice wraps- wish I could give it the 5 stars it deserves
Stumbled in here after a show downtown. Amazing food! Perfect spot for a late dinner!

Probably the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Drunken noodles are 10/10. Panang curry is 10/10. Service is fast. 3/5 is a tolerable level of spice if you enjoy spicy food. Great atmosphere. Thai tea and lychee lemonade are also very yummy.

Heard lots of great things and read great reviews. Nice fast casual experience (order/pay at the counter). Food takes a while (waited over half an hour) but definitely delicious and worth the wait! Been here a couple times now. Can’t wait to go again!

I was very disappointed in the service I received. We placed an order online when we picked up the food one meal was left out I had to come back and wait for it to be remade meanwhile my meal was cold by the time I got back and the crab Rangoon’s I got were also cold and not as good when they were warm. I wasn’t offered any compensation or recognition of their mistake.

Phenomenal tastiest Asian food in dsm metro , high quality ingredients with distinct flavor , seamless ordering experience as well !
I can't explain how delicious this place is. It's our go to restaurant for nights out and we are always beyond thrilled with the flavors and taste of the food. The Thai tea is a delicious compliment to the Pad Thair or Curry dishes. We also enjoy the crispy rice spring rolls (they are huge!). They will also do special rangoonies during the winter, more of a dessert style. Please try this place, it's absolutely wonderful (and try the bing bing wraps!!!!)

I grabbed pineapple fried rice to go. Excellent flavor and texture. Crab Rangoon in contrast
was pretty bland.

The good: the snack list portions were huge!
The medium: The bing bing wraps tasted very burnt so we couldn’t finish them. We asked someone if that’s how they normally came out since it was our first time there. She said yes. So I didn’t take any review points away on my mind because I can’t fault them for making a dish how it is supposed to be and me not liking how well done it is.
The bad: Long wait for food (40 minutes from order to get meal. Other people had been there before us and got their food a few minutes before we got ours)
We and other people had to ask for a table to be cleared and wiped down before we could sit.
Had to ask for our lemonade after 30 minutes. The lemonade was not lemonade. It was more of a mango juice with dragon fruit syrup at the bottom.
The restaurant is so loud I couldn’t hear the persons cross the table from me

Good food and large portions. That’s red curry was spicy which was authentic but as a white boy I was sweating.

Great food and location. Walk to the counter to pay and they bring the food to you. Loved the spring rolls and Pad Thai
