The tall black maybe early 30s manager that I dealt with was extremely aggressive and has no business treating customers that way! I never have issues at this location until dealing with this manager I will definitely not be back!

This location is really slow for some reason. I ordered a double cheeseburger and it took over 10 minutes to get the order. There were only 2 vehicles in front of me.

The drive thru lady was not taking my order in a nice way and it was after 8pm and I requested a chicken sandwich and she kept saying to me a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. After she did this 3xs I told her nevermind and drove away and as I was driving away she was yelling out the drive thru window at me. This was ridiculous and when I go to this location for lunch the lady is extremely nice and kind thst waits on me. Maybe give your staff some proper customer service training because this was terrible service and I left feeling very upset.

There we were, 5:30am, Des Moines. My buddy and I were 16 hours into our drive, and in desperate need for a meal. We saw McDonald’s opened at 5:00, and thought ‘Hey, why not?’ In our latest hour of desperation, we ordered sandwiches and coffees. We were met with delicious food, and wonderful service. We were kindly offered more coffee, but we were so stuffed, we had to decline. What a wonderful way to start the day at the Des Moines McD.

Walking in there was a tornado of food wrappers, recipes, and stray fries on the floor right by the registers. In addition, the foyer smelled like urine from the nearby bathrooms; quite pungent. When our order was placed the machine did not dispense a receipt so we did not know what our order number was, only the contents. When our order was ready, the female attendant dropped our order on the ground because she missed the take away counter, so she had to remake our fries since they spilled out. This took about :10. Then when an order was announced, thinking it was ours, we politely asked the male attendant what the order was and he retorted the number he called and walked away. This was a short stop on our drive back to Denver but I would recommend avoiding this location if you are traveling through or a local.
