I waited 30 minutes for our food and when they finally put it on the counter then never even said the order number, luckily I noticed it was mine. However, they didn’t give me cups for the 2 large drinks. One of the guys working there (no name tag) he had half purple and half black curly hair, kept just giving me dirty looks and eventually came up to me and said “what are you waiting here for” and didn’t even look me in the eye before he smarted off with that. Just terrible customer service over all.

It's a McDonalds at the end of day. Probably my favorite one in the Des Moines area as far as consistency goes. Been here at least 60 times. Your experience may vary, but mine is usually great in this location. I've had my 30 minute waits in the Drive Thru once or twice here, but what can you expect from people only getting paid 12 bucks or so an hour.

They take forever here. Fries are always cold. I waited 30+ min for an order I placed ahead of time from the app. Awful. And very dirty.

Food: its a hit or miss here. Some days, burgers are good, fries are fresh. Other days, burgers are meh and fries are stale.
Service: from what I can see, the crew is hardworking, friendly, mostly professional. The downfall here is that there is no front end service. People wait to pay for orders, people wait for orders sitting on a shelf behind the registers. Its sad to see that personal touch of customer service removed from McDonald's.
Atmosphere: the scene is usually the same... customers standing/sitting around waiting for orders, workers in the back taking/making orders and running them out the door, out the window or to the front counter, the dining area unattended.

When refund my order wouldn't change my order after I got a McChicken instead of a crispy she wouldn't give me the different charge me the difference and they were interrupting me and being argumentative and then when they couldn't charge me the extra difference for my crispy and take the McChicken back or something to fix my order wouldn't give me any my stuff for free or anything she tried to tell me to go to corporate or call corporate

Met the GM of the store this morning. He greeted me as i entered the store while he was mopping, which is amazing now a days. He was enthusiastic, respectful, and super helpful. A door dash guy was there and he said that he also thinks the GM is awesome and its a great store. Super clean store. Mobile order was very quick and correct. Will def order here again if im in this part of town! Edited for spelling.

With the value meal being at 6 bucks it's the best deal in town. The hamburger with fries, Chicken nuggets, And basically unlimited drink... Is fabulous and I went ahead and I had an apple pie with mine.
