After sitting at the drive thru window for at least ten minutes, a woman finally gave us our food. First off, the drinks weren't secured in the drink carrier to the point where they were falling over. We had to secure them ourselves. Next was the fact that when she gave us our food, she didn't say anything to me or my mother. She gave us our food and drinks and shut the window and left. We waited until she came back to the window so we could ask if that was all of our food and she said "what?" And we asked her again and she said "yeah, that's all." And left again. I find it extremely rude that she didn't say anything along the lines of "hello" or "how are you?" or "have a nice night." We are sorry that the woman was having a rough night or whatever but please be respectful to your customers! When we got home, we discovered that the two double cheeseburgers we ordered, were NOT double cheeseburgers. There was only one burger on each sandwich. Last time I checked, a double cheeseburger has TWO burgers on it and not ONE!

McDonald's needs to step it up. Every McDonald's in the Des Moines area are slow and always make mistakes! I avoid mc d's whenever I can.

Overall as a McDonald's it's fine. The high schoolers that smell like weed definitely make it a less than ideal experience.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting incredible service or food to rave about as this is a chain fast food place, but never in my life have I had service this bad. When my family arrived, the cashier was taking a personal call on her cellphone and continued to talk on the phone while trying to take our order. We got frustrated and paused ordering as it seemed pointless to try while she was clearly distracted. When we finally did get to order once she hung up, she had to repeatedly ask what we wanted and was not really listening to us. She also did not apologize for being on her phone. It was especially frustrating as we were in a hurry as many are when choosing to eat at a fast food place. None of the other workers said anything or came to take our order even when they saw us standing in front of the register waiting for this lady to get off her phone. Would not recommend. Just drive to the McDonalds on Fleur, it will take just as long.
